this is really sad to hear. I met Dingo in person at Animal Con and Gatorland and he was just the nicest guy. He managed to juggle being humble, a star, and taking great care of his animals and family at the same time. You could see his passion clearly. He was like the Kianu Reeves of the animal world. Rest in paradise, hope you meet up with Brian and Steve while your up there

Dingo was so much more than just a KZbin personality. He had dedicated his life to the education and conservation of all creatures great and small including the scaly creatures that go unnoticed by most others. He was one of the most influential advocates and speakers within the reptile community and his loss is beyond heartbreaking 💔 RIP Dingo, we love you and miss you.

Same here. He was way too reckless with venomous snakes. All it’d take was a tiny scrape considering how allergic he was + he can’t have any anti venom bc of said allergy. Just in the 3-4 years I’d been watching him he had 2 or 3 really close calls.

This is very sad for everyone. I think about 2 years ago he was bitten. And also 8 months ago? This is like Steve Irwin. The writing was on the wall. I had a friend who had the same type of Gung Ho approach to nature, and it's denizens. Well he also had his Darwin moment, and he did not survive it. There was another guy who was also like the above two. Mark O'Shea. I think the only reason he is still alive, is that he stopped handling dangerous snakes. And there are more KZbinrs out there who are on the same path.

He had a screw loose just like Steve Irwin. Always just a little more intrusive with animals. Ain't here to talk crap, don't misunderstand me, I liked them both, and its always a shame to lose somebody who dedicates his life to animals. At the same time I really felt sometimes that he just crossed a line quite often when handling certain animals. At least he passed doing what he liked the most.

Its not often mentioned that snake venom often renders its victims as a former shadow of their previous self. If you survive after anti venom treatment often you end up in hospital for a while and later develop immune diseases and nervous system issues. Depending on the snake and venom type.

What an idiot. Knowing that he could get bit at any moment, leaving behind his grieving family.

@@karenscott1381 l disagree....this is a public forum... The man may have been well liked...but he was totally irresponsible . He obviously did not consider his family. We need to leave wild animals alone to live their lives in peace.

Love Dingo so much. He made reptile education so fascinating. Dingo is up there with Steve Irwin and Brian Barczyk. So much knowledge was lost with those 3 guys gone. I'm so glad I got to learn from each one of them. He was very quirky in his choice of words on his channel or if being interviewed by another person but he was never boring.

If you handle something so extremely dangerous long enough, you tend to get comfortable. If you're going to handle deadly reptiles, you must treat each encounter as if it were your 1st. All it takes is ONE mistake, and you're gone. No matter how much love, care and compassion you show these reptiles, they are incapable of loving you back

Like Steve Irwin, this oke pushed boundaries way too far. They never learnt to leave wild animals and reptiles alone. They don't like being handled and chased and played with and when you don't respect those boundaries, you get bitten. I am sorry he lost his life but not surprised at all .....
