Thanks Dave. The other day when I played a tournament, I did exactly what you said not to do, be an introvert, sitting at a corner trying to focus when instead, I gave meself pressure. It was a major turnaround when I socialized a bit and found that right stance to play my game. Thanks for the great advice!

Practiced at the club the other day and hit 6 180s in 1hr 30 mins and felt really relaxed and focused. Today I went to the club and played some young lad I'd never met before who to be fair was good but not hugely above my level and I played terribly and he beat me up. I just felt so nervous and couldn't get rid of it no matter what. To be fair I think I need to, as you say, mingle and play more people to gain experience.

So true. Darts is so much about confidence. And you MUST LEARN HOW TO LOSE. That’s how you learn to improve.

I was watching a video on a boxer today who put himself in street matches knowing he would get beat. He said something very profound he said you have to have your head knocked round till your on the edge of giving up to know whats required to do the same to someone else and have the balls to finish the job. D Dave...

I played in Pub leagues when I was in my early 20s and I understand you win and you lose but I kept losing and was getting so frustrated. I was always putting myself down. I didn’t LEARN to lose and Improve. I quit my team because of it. I’m now I’m my early 50s I would love the chance to play again and just have fun

Good video, thanks! Any recommendations for other youtube videos talking about breathing to help you relax, similar to the way you described in your video? I am not familiar with it myself but it seems to be so many different techniques out there and even entire books written about breathing which gets a bit overwhelming
