Listening to Dallas is like opening an advent calendar, you always sort of know what you’re going to get, but in the same breath you really have no idea what you’re going to get. The mystery just keeps you coming back.

The best part about every version of this I've seen, is that when Dallas starts playing the song, everyone in the room shuts the fuck up and lets magic happen.

I take nothing away from people and whatever music they decide to listen to. but it is a real shame that most people will never how many truly gifted singer/musicians there are, people like Dallas Green, Antoine Dufour, Andy Mckee, and so on, people who write truly gifted music that you totally become lost in."Perso nel suono" But instead most would rather listen to the music that is pumped into everyday society through the radio, tv, ect. And most of these singers out there today are more or less just an image, a pretty face or nice body who the majority of the time don't even write their own music. im not saying anyone whos music is on the radio dosent have talent, i just hope someday i will hear this kind of music being played to our youth.

I love how his performing of this song has evolved over time. He now includes George's parts a bit more "In a hail of sparks/In a tangle of wires/everything went wrong". How he sings it has changed too.Instead of going up all the time, he brings it down at the end of lines. (or whatever you want to call them) Love this version.
@christopherroth865 жыл бұрын
I too love hearing him sing those lyrics in this version, normally they're omitted and it gives so much more character to the song with them in.

there are so many amazing musicians. Lewis Capaldi for example is a gem. Also check out Jacob Collier, he is one of the most talented musicians to grace the planet and is extremely young. But Dallas is special as well.
