My sister once surprised me with a trip to the UK and we went to tea at Claridges. Barbara Walters was having tea at the table next to us. It was like stepping into another very cultured and ethereal world from years gone by. I remember a staff member in black & white “maid-style” uniform in the bathroom who turned the taps on for you. It was a magical, unforgettable experience.

Did you ever see the BBC doc on Claridges upgrade, where they dug down 5 storeys to fit in a wellness centre and also they added floors to the top of the building, great piece of engineering.

I saw the scallops with samphire. I have wanted to try samphire for ages. We don’t have it here (at least not that I have seen) in the US The fresh flowers were gorgeous! I love it when you show them outside the shops. Those dried pink protea are so pretty. I am not much for dried flowers but those were very pretty.

I Loved this Hannah!! You have truly inspired me to do a day shop in London when we come over from the USA next year. I really enjoy seeing your vlogs, especially when you are at lunch or tea with your sister. The prices for that very nice lunch at Claridge's were comparable with what I'd be willing to pay at a nice restaurant here, in Indy, even allowing for the exchange rate.
