Nothing better than a happy wiggle from Howie. Dinner looks delicious. I substituted a cup of hot coffee for the water and a teaspoon of instant coffee for the frosting. I made a few days ago. I ate a piece to late and the caffeine kicked in at bedtime. Didn't fall asleep until 4 am.

Bev I have some info for you. In Australia Costco will sell you the beef they use for mincing into 90 to 10 ground beef before they grind it. It comes in a box of 2x 10kg vacuumed packages. It runs at AU$10/kg, the same price as their ground beef. Seeing as it is in pieces, you can do what you like with it. What I have seen its great looking beef. Mince it, chunk it, make slow roasts etc. You have to ask the butchers for it. Im pretty sure they would sell a 1x10kg package. Its expensive up front, but would save in the long run by canning, lasagnes, pies etc. Im sure they could open a bag and let you look? I don't know what the price would be in CAD. Just a thought.
