Hello, First of all great video secondly i am confused between the R3 and the 390 Duke. i know Duke has a lot of punch in low end but does that mean R3 doesnt have any low end power as R3 has its power all in the upper range? i mean is it fun to ride R3 in the city? i have ridden duke and i quite liked its acceleration and i have also ridden the dominar and dominar is the most boring bike i have ever ridden seriously 0 power bike. I am not exaggerating this but i ride apache 160 these days and i couldnt feel a single bit of difference in power in the city in low revs between the dominar and apache 160. i really love R3 and i want to go for it but i just dont want to be so subtle as the dominar is in low revs and city. So does it have any punch in the lower revs? or poor low end performance?

@Hadi Kirmani: bro, I just got my r3 last Thursday. Believe me, you can easily ride at lower speeds without any hiccups. I'm still doing the run-in, but I tried a 60-115 pull on 6th gear and it was effortless. And the Yamaha engine, so sweet when revved and butter smooth.... you will really enjoy the r3.

bro i have a few bikes that I wanted to test ride but would want your opinions- which one should i go for- the Duke 390, cbr 250r, Yamaha r3 or the ninja 300. i want a reliable bike, a bike worthy for tall riders, something that doesn't feel underpowered and a bike that wouldn't cost a lot to repair or service plus yes i ride pillion too. and yes bro comfort id the main thing too where i shouldn't get a wrist or backache while riding for long distances and I'm 6ft tall so require something for my height.

One good thing about the R3 is that the suspension can be adjusted according to the riders preference.For tackling corners or to ride fast a higher stiff setting does help it a lot.I am a proud owner of the previous gen R3 and trust me once anyone changes the stock suspension setting the bike's overal handling does increase a lot and does help in taking corners.😊

As far as I know ktm doesn't provide original wp suspension setup....if they did... the cost would be much higher..

@@Krishnendu792 the way Indian law works I feel it can happen not sure.. but as far as I know India made KTM are getting exported so they need to use original wp suspensions else they can get sued in other countries unlike India.. plus they won't spoil their brand image just to save some money.

Pls don't compare KTM RC 390 with both ninja or r3 KTM has 1 cylinder it will never be equal to twin cylinder beasts While ninja is an amazing bike it doesn't even come close to R3 and now after R3 getting the abs variant R3 will smoke ninja

I own this since last 3 weeks and I have completed the first 1000 kms and first service. The mileage that I am getting in city is 18 and highway 22, after using premium petrol. Brilliant performance and looks, but don't expect a mileage of more than 25 ever!

Been 3 years with the R3, do 12K rpm all day long, long rides, city commutes, through anything. Glad about my choice. Just add some heavier fork oil( Motul 20W), lower the clipon, buy rear sets from ali express and you have a track ready R3.

@Dino's Vault Hi Dino, would you know if Yamaha gives a test drive for the Yamaha R3? I've reached out to Pearl Yamaha's contact number on their website and they don't seem to have a clue about this. All they say is that once the bike is booked it would take 90 days for delivery.

I have tested both the old and new Rc's but not this one so what can you say apart from the refinement of it? I mean i have seen dyno results showing the real numbers lowering down to 35 hp. Meaning powerwise do you feel a LOT difference between the rc 390s and this one?

Hadi Kirmani I have an r3.. trust me it’s the best decision that I made to purchase the bike, sold my duke 390 and got the R3 it’s been 1.2 years, never regretted owning this beautiful machine.. it has enough torque in the low as well as high end.. perfect all rounder, I don’t have the abs and the new metzlerz Tyres is the only downfall...

Hello Sir... you have mentioned that the rear gets 140/70 section metzeler m5 tyre while there is no 140 section tyre with metzeler m series.. not sure if I am correct coz I have booked Ninja 300abs and I am searching for metzeler tyres and found out there is no 140 section in sportech m5... Go for dominar 400. Honda's Cbr 250 is already outdated. The only upgrade it has got so far was in the form of LED headlight which honestly is not the best in thr market. This is an undeniable fact that honda's engines are the best. But for the time being dominar offers the best value for money.
