Another burning piece of social commentary from The Man With The Golden Voice, the voice that will echo throughout the centuries. Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Dio, Heaven and Hell...he always maintained an "exterminate the weak" level of QUALITY. I never understood those who shat on this era of music he did; to me it was a logical follow-on to what he did on the "Dehumanizer" album with Black Sabbath. I became a massive fan of this incredible talent when I first heard Sabbath's "Heaven And Hell" album in 1981 when I was 15 years old. I count myself fortunate to have seen him with his own band in 1985 in Fort Wayne, Indiana; with Black Sabbath in 1992 in Chicago and with Heaven and Hell in 2009 in Detroit. There will never be another talent like his.

This show was recorded exactly 20 days before the day I was born... I never saw Dio live but that is my biggest wish.. I miss him so much :(

I love this! This album is intense, still melodic, still so very DIO-esque. I don't get the fans who hated this, its hard, its aggressive, its angry, the Magic Dreamer waking up to see the horrors of the world around Him and singing about it.

Goosebumpy performance from all 4. What a song? And what a difference from eg Rainbow in the Dark, or, Gypsy, or, Faces in the Window, or Lock up the Wolves, or, or, or,..... RJD even more of GOAT than I used to think. RIP. :(

this is fucking great¡ this is power¡ this is metal¡ this is god singing to us¡ Angry machines is a great album, I do not understand why some people is stucked in the past, you, yes you that do not understand this move in DIO's music, you are like your parents when they said to you: this DIO dude is the devil¡ you must study and be a good christhian¡, put away those demoniac posters¡ oh you made your mama crying¡, wake up¡ this is DIO in the 90's and is great¡ it is only more agressive I think..
