Ronnie James Dio is the GOAT!! He is the best metal singer that ever walked this planet. Saw him live in New Orleans, Louisiana in the 80's and it he was amazing. When he joined Black Sabbath, it was the best thing that ever happened to them. Love you Ronnie, and miss you so much!! This man is the biggest LEGEND that ever lived. R.I.P. Ronnie

You certainly can't go wrong with Dio - what a great vocalist he was. Apart from other bands he's been the vocalist for Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow and Black Sabbath. This song is from his second solo album The Last in Line 1984. He's made some fantastic solo albums including this one, Holy Diver and Lock Up The Wolves, three of my favourites! Two songs stand out for me from the Dio eras with Rainbow and Black Sabbath. Rainbow - 'Stargazer', which I think is one of the best rock songs ever, and 'Heaven and Hell', from Black Sabbath, another really fantastic metal song. I love Dio as you know, Anthony, got so many of his songs on a playlist, never get tired of listening to them, and as you say, the solos are awesome! Great reaction, many thanks.😊😊

I am very greatful to Dio for this album and this track. I was 11 in 1985 when I first heard it and it was one of those moments when you start loving hard and heavy music. Now, 40 years later I am still a fan of metal music. And Dio was (and still is) - a great gateway into this genre.

It's been a long time since I heard Dio's version. I was 21 when that record was released. You've heard Liliac's version of Holy Diver. Listen to their cover of this song. The only difference is that it is a woman who sings. And she can sing and her moves in the video scream Dio and the guitar solo is almost a copy. Dio is Melody's great role model.

LILIAC IS ONE OF WENDY'S FAVORITE BANDS, HER AND DIO DRUMMER VINNIE APPICE GAVE LILIAC AN UNRELEASED SLIGHTLY LONGER VERSION OF THE LAST IN LINE .. THE VIDEO THEY SHOT AND GAVE WENDY FOR THE TRIBUTE IS AMAZING, DIO HIMSELF WAS PROBABLY LOOKING DOWN WITH A HUGE SMILE....
