People remember a great singer, no matter what, I think... I'm a new fan, I fell under his spell early 2019, just in time to miss everything from the auction and of course I never got to see a Ronnie show or get to meet him, and now I've grown to love Ronnie more than anyone on this stupid planet . . .

Jasmine, I met Ronnie when I was16. He wouldn't let me hold his cigarette for him when taking a pic with others, he asked me what I planned on doing with my life, just totally concerned about me in that moment. The nicest rock star you could only dream of meeting.

Craig Goldy what a cool guitarist, knows how to play without overdoing it, but unfortunately people just remember the ones who play all flashy and stuff

I truly believe that Craig is the guitar player for Ronnie. I know Vivian was first, and set the gold standard, but Ronnie and Craig have a special relationship that goes beyond the music. Every guitarist that's played with Ronnie is stellar, but he and Craig are the best team.

Musically, I would choose Appice on drums, Sarzo on bass, Scott Warren on keyboards, and Vivian Campbell on guitar. But that’s not all that makes a “band”

I think that all the different guitarists that has played in dio is great! Sure the first three albums with Campbell are the best, but Craig Goldy and Tracy G are great guitarists to. Then what bassist was the best that is hard question but Jummy Bain has played with Dio in rainbow so i think they had a special bond. Claude Schnell on keyboard. The best drummer Dio played with is without any hesitation Vinny Appice! His style, power and how he chooses to play the different songs is so unique. He played with Dio in Sabbath and they founded the band Dio. I don’t say that is Simon Wright is a bad drummer his style suits acdc perfectly but when he plays for example children of the sea it dosent sound nowhere close to what it is suposed to.

They are all great, amazing Musicians, real legends of Rock !!! But to choose one Line up. For me it will always be the first: Viv Campbell, Jimmy Bain, Vinnie Appice, Claude Schnell But please don‘t forget the great Great Jeff Pilson on Bass and (even more important) Fantastic Backing Vocals !!!!

@@rasmussoderberg4385 Robertson was the most technically gifted guitarist. Aldrich had the flare and chops. Campbell was the defining one. Goldy was the best at doing Rainbow and Sabbath tunes.

​@@rasmussoderberg4385wrong about Simon Wright and children of the sea as, Simon played it the exact same way bill ward played it something Vinnie could never do in sabbath or when playing with ronnie when ronnie performed sabath stuff I. On sign of southern cross Simon is basically trying to and doing a great job at Bill warding the song even though vinnie did play on that track in the studio because he played on the mob rules but with sabath I never liked vinnies drumming. Because unlike every other drummer who played in sabath vinnie could never do drumming like Bill ward. But with that said vinnie is a great drummer too but me I like Simon Wright better because he can play everything including the more fusion jazz style of bill ward for which vinnie could never do and still can't.
