I just visited clinic today and dentist asked me to get scaling done coz i am having gum loss in front of my lower teeth.. but my dad told me when scaling is done And healed, gum problems will keep occuring again and again and teeth will be very sensitive and weak forever.. i just can't find an honest answer what should I do?

dental scaling alone doesn't make any direct damages to your teeth or gum. it only removes plaques so don't worry about what your dad told you.

I just got mine done today...it's my second time...I had only few deposits but still wanted it gone ..bro don't think about it too much it's easy procedure only you will only feel sensitivity in teeth because of the procedure ..all excess water will be absorbed by the tube placed in your mouth...then use the medication ur doctor provides post scaling ... Happy and relieved now🙏

If you have sensitivity then you should use a toothpaste that my dentist has recommended,just use the normal tooth paste you use,before brushing take a small amount of Vantej toothpaste and apply it to that places where you feel sensitivity, leave it for 5-7 minutes then brush your teeth with normal toothpaste along with Vantej and rinse it off
