When it hurts super bad like a 9 or 10 I run to the bathroom brush my teeth and floss to add a little pain to reduce the other. I spent $150 just to find out I have to have a root canal with another dentist that will cost $1,500 also I am supposed to fill out a CareCredit application wait for that no telling how long it will take or if. So much pain I can't concentrate on what to do next I don't have the money and this may become a medical problem.. I'm a veteran but my benefits are not covered for dental. Also disabled from a broken back so my only income is a disability check every month...I'm so f#%*ed.

I feel you bro, my toothe pain so shockingly severe. It was manageable with ibuprofen at first, and then the pain went away and now, at about a month or so later the pain has become absolutely completely unbearable, like full on 911 Medical Emergency raging paralyzing debilitating pain. My tooth is decaying rapidly, the back tooth that is causing this pain is in a late-stage (Stage III or Stage IV) decay point where literally half the tooth is white and the other half is gone and black, exposing my nerves completely. I could barely work when it started this time! The entire work day I literally had to constantly have cold water in my mouth, to numb the pain. Then after a few minutes the water would get warm again and the pain would return. Can only imagine how panicked I felt when I ran out of cold water to drink, couldn't believe I made it to the end of the work day. Went to Walgreens and bought some Orajel for Toothache Analgesic & Astringent Rinse, which is actually non-numbing, and works much better than tue Orajel numbing benzocaine liquid. (For those interested it comes in a white 16 FL Oz bottle for $10 at Walgreens). That is the only thing that is working until I see a dentist asap asap.

I had a deep near nerve cavity filling almost 8 months ago and it was traumatic like crazy. My dentist didn't even give me any anesthetics and told me that i didn't need it. Then, he used his tiny drill and literally hit my nerves so many times that i cried out and screamed in pain. I literally cried and requested him to gimme the anesthesia bcos i couldn't bear the pain anymore but he refused and told me to toughen up. Whenever the drill touched my nerve, it felt like i was getting an electric shock inside my teeth which gave me jerks all over my body but i just stood still and cried. All this went on for 15-20 minutes straight and when he completed the filling, the tooth still hurt like crazy and the pain was still there for another 4 hours but went away because i took some painkiller. I still get those nightmares and i don't think I'll be able to get over it easily😭😭

I went to the dentist today, I was so relieved the anesthetics rid me of chronic tooth pain, he performed a root canal treatment, I was so happy my pain had gone but a few hours later the anesthetics began to wear off and I felt that awful ache again,over the next couple of hours it increased ten fold, now it's 1am I'm in sooo much pain, there's no way I'll sleep tonight, and I'm so pissed at paying a dentist great cost and has only made my toothache ten times worse...god please relieve me of this pain 🙏

The shots don't hurt me too bad except the one in the roof of the mouth. It's like stepping on a leggo with the tight skin on the bottom of your foot but 10 times worse. Than 100 times worse when they inject the fluid. Started first session of my root canal treatment last week. Had sleepless nights for two weeks because of throbbing pain, which felt like two years. for ANY kind of tooth, gum pain.... 1. gargle your mouth with MORTON SEA SALT ( FROM WALMART)......make sure ONLY morton sea salt ( coarse not fine )...not any other brand.....and regular tap water ( not warm.......regular cold water from TAP/FAUCET...) 4 times a day. 2. start using COLGATE SENSITIVE MINT PASTE tooth paste from walmart.....not mint gel..MINT PASTE (from walmart or any other store) 2 times a day....regularly... guarantee your pain willl be gone.....or when ever you have pain.....

Edit: just spent $10 on orajel doesn’t help pain is still there omg 😱 first the hole in my stomach which has my intestines fallen out the massive tumor in my wrist which pressure and crush my veins and nerves 😟 now this horrible toothache pain which is unbearable what’s next also get the worst damn allergies 🤧 and heartburn ❤️‍🔥 I’m over all of this call me Frankenstein the pain man 🤕

I'm in stage 3 and nonstop pain is killing me. where I live going to dentist is a luxury that not everybody can afford. I think the only way is to pull it out myself but I'm scared as fuck😭.

I did and omg it hurt pulling it out myself I almost passed out. It takes a lot of determination to be able to do it yourself. May be better to have someone else do it quickly. But it did work pain went away almost immediately
