well, thanks for sludging through for us. Your 'incredulity' about logos being distilled energies coagulating into atoms brought to mind the work of Arthur M. Young, have you read his work 'The Reflexive Universe'? I think you'd find his elucidation far more coherent and satisfying. He's a genuine scientist and has a real grasp of what's involved in such a process, it seems to me.

@@exquofonte Thanks for the recommendation. Her premise is essentially that the cosmos is alive. I don't doubt this to be true on a certain level. Planets vibrate and "sing" with seeming intelligence in much the same way that whales communicate. Rather than personify these objects I think it more appropriate to view them as vast machines that we do not yet comprehend.
