You can see where Whitney got her influence and mannerisms. Fan of Alfie.

She is so incredibly creative in her singing. Two of my faves are Alfie, and I'll Never Fall in Love Again.

Kennedy Honors for the legendary Queen DIONNE WARWICK! Ms. Warwick created that move with the mike and has a patent, so if vocalists chose to do it, they must pay Ms. Warwick to do so. .

My favorite 80s Dionne song is “Yours”. I really loved her 70s stuff, too bad none of those albums made it anywhere

Domt forget that Luthers biggest hit was a Dionne remake. A House Is Not A Home. And theres a video of him singing it to her

Ms. Dionne have so many great classics from the 80s. It is difficult to choose but maybe "Love Does Not Live Here Anymore" or "Heartbreaker".kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXjEm3WfmqqXmaM

So great to see and hear this fab video for the first time. I can hardly find words to express my love for Dionne, so I'll just say class, class, class. Her smash hit "Alfie" is my all-time fave, and "Walk on By" is superb.

Barry Manilow arranged and produced both of these songs ...superb arranger with Dionne's pipes ....Doesn't get much better

The" microphone trick" is just giving crescendos to the note. When it's far from her the note is softer

It’s not a “trick” it is sheer talent and technique. You didn’t do this justice. She sang two songs in this medley. The next was I Know I’ll Never Love This Way Again and that’s the more incredible of the two, which garners a standing ovation from an industry crowd: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aaPdh4yOmqp-qcU

May i ask if you'd like to react to some of Natalie Cole's live solo performances? Especially when she performs songs like I'm catching hell and Lucy in the sky with diamonds and our love
