Burt Bacharach's minor and demonic chord changes and his quirky time signature changes made him exceptional.. And Hal David could surely write a lyric.. My dad did Burt's Australian tour in 1972.. He was a professional muso.. Drummer/percussionist... If there was anybody who needed to live forever it was my precious dada and Burt... I long for those days back... Especially musically..

This is amazing. The artistry, the chemistry, the way each plays to, builds on, and compliments the other's strengths is perfection. Burt never wrote "soul" music and Dionne was never a classic "soul" singer; but the soul, passion, and beauty baked into their union is unmistakable.

With so few comments, wonder what brought us both here within 5 days of one another? For me, it was "Do you know the way to San Jose"... I play that on the piano, and for some reason, played it this morning, forgetting some parts.... so here I am. What a duo, right??? Awesome.
