As a kid, we did not have many vinyles, but we had the 33 rpm vinyl of this song and we play the heck out of this! I and glad you like it! Yes, the video would have made it easier, but this is more fun :) Happy Friendship Day everyone!

Dionne did this song and has donated all of the proceeds to Amfar for HIV/Aids research way back in the 1980s and asked her friends Stevie, Gladys and Elton to join her. For those that also don't know, Dionne started singing in the 1960s and had huge pop success, her aunt Cissy Houston was already in the music business and sang back up on hundreds of recordings, and was also the mother of Dionne's cousin, superstar Whitney Houston who followed Dionne into the pop music world.

Always recognize Stevie's harmonica. Such a style. (It's funny on the video Gladys keeps looking up at Stevie , like OMG, it's really him !)

Hey just to let you know this song was originally written for the movie Night Shift (1982). It plays over the closing credits. It is sung by Rod Stewart originally. I actually like that version the best. Give a listen to the soundtrack to Night Shift it's a awesome!

Slowly romantic, things you could come across often in the 80s, Donne is first with backing vocals, harmonica then voice is Stevie, comes Elton John next, Gladys must be fourth, great singing every legend. I felt it was too short to have the time for everybody
