i don't know why a lot of reviewers said that is an almost skin scent and average longevity, when i try it in sephora i got 2 days of longevity ,i am not kidding and solid projection for the first 2 hours. And it's not even that warm in here like 10 degrees celsius.

I don't have any problems with it's performance. I like both the DHS 2012 and the new 2017. They share some similarities, specially in the dry down, but the 2017 shines by itself. It is a 4.5/5 for me. It has very good projection (3 or 4 hours) and very good longevity (6 hours). Both, better than the DHS 2012. If you don't like the iris note, I would encourage you to try this. If this works in your skin like it worked on my mine, you will be very happy. It is a great fragrance.

What is the best fresh scent that is not boring, that is creative & has some depth?

In terms of scent, I prefer this one instead of the 2012 version: the iris note on the 2012 was way too pungent for a sport version. The 2017 is a true sport version, even if it doesn't have a signature note of iris. I still don't have a opinion about the performance on this one, but I have two samples of it and will try those in the next few days, but, overall, I completely agree with you. Awesome review! :)

Thanks for the review.. but this is sucky news for me... Dior sport 2008 was a great fragrance.. It should have never been changed.. It had a very high class ginger note with sparkling citrus that reminded me of an upscale Japanese restaurant. It was so damn refreshing during the summer and it was a compliment monster. The performance wasn't bad on it either.. So i guess another classic and one of my favorites has been destroyed once again.

That's a great question! You would have to know what the year of reformulation is. Then, you can go on checkcosmetic.net, and plug in the serial number. The website will tell you what the exact date of manufacture is! It's pretty cool!

All I know is that I don't think I like the scent on me, although, I do keep spraying it, to experiment. It has given me a scent of cat urine, but not every time. A girl tonight told me I "smell so good" So, in my mind Dior Homme Sport has redeemed itself. I'll probably keep using it consistently now.
