I really like this colourway. Skeinz wool here I come. Thank you so much Rebecca from New Zealand. It has been your videos that have taught me to dye wool. I knit to keep sane and my arthritis at bay, but with a very small budget getting wool at a reasonable price was getting too hard so I started haunting op shops for yarn and hoping I got wool that was not too old to colour up. Bless you.

Hi Marianne Have you tried sourcing base yarns from Wild Earth YaRns in Christchurch. They sell bulk amounts which makes it cheaper.

My hubby who cannot tell the difference between blue and green really liked this one. He thought it was all blue but hey. I love this one as well. I alsoam a tree hugger from way back

To be fair it is a very blue leaning green! I'm so glad you like the yarn!

I'm thankful for you. You have not only inspired me to try dying my own yarn. But also for being a shining light during the lockdowns we have had. Thank you 😊

Rebecca! YOU DID BROWN!! I adore this colorway. I ended up with a pretty saturated mini -- and I LOVE it. I decided I needed to see how it looks with night one and twisted both minis together. Oh my. I need more. I am horrible at waiting for things, but I am making myself wait until I can watch each video and find out what colors/technique you are using before I open the corresponding packet. I am so happy I found you and your channel. Your enthusiasm and cheery demeanor truly brighten my days -- and have inspired me to dye some yarn of my own. I almost have everything I need to get started -- I will likely get everything else I need over Christmas.

Pretty, pretty arboriferous yarn. (Yes, that is an actual word!) You're right, it looks very like a pine tree.

I love this color way it’s very different from your norm💕 Rebecca I’d like to thank you for all the time you put into making videos. During the past 2 yrs I’ve started spinning and dyeing yarn. It has been such a pleasure to invite you into my home every week. I’ve learned so much from you and I’m not afraid to experiment. Thank you, thank you, thank you again for all your hard work🥰

Very beautiful! I think it will knit up as mini stripes. This colorway works for a lot of people's needs.
@ChemKnitsTutorials2 жыл бұрын
It depends on the gauge and project. On socks it might look like micro stripes, on a hat it could pool in spirals. :D

Thank you so much! Dyeing can be very easy - but I absolutely still make mistakes and struggle sometimes. I try to show those in videos, too. I like to film things the first time I try something on camera so I can reflect how I may improve. :D

I now want to see how to set up for dip dyeing a 6 meter skein. That just seems absurd and I now need to see it.
@ChemKnitsTutorials3 жыл бұрын
I've done it! kzbin.info/www/bejne/qJfVlKp5nMqqiZI I'm not sure if it was 6M but it was a super long skein. This way is a bit cheating since I crocheted it first - kzbin.info/www/bejne/iGiqaHxvnrBqr68

What do you do with your yarn mops?
@ChemKnitsTutorials3 жыл бұрын
Normally my yarn mops end up in my etsy shop (chemknitscreations.etsy.com/) like the rest of my yarn. However, for Chanukah this year people ordered them as mystery skeins to go with their samplers.
