Wow! I haven't seen David in years. Met him at a tournament with several other hobby luminaries. Am not active now. Haven't played in a long time. As a suggestion, if you can find Dan Stafford he is a top notch tactician. I haven't seen the lad in a few years but you might be able to tempt him to chime in. If nothing else, he is a character.

Funny, but I did as David asked before I head his advise, so I've seen all other Diplomacy videos on that channel before that one :) Anyway, I thank David for his articles - some of those I read, used and translated into Russian more than a decade ago! And thanks for all LT collective for their job, of course. It's such a joy to remember those times again, when I had an honor to HtH play with Edi Birsan in Moscow, and when I worked on Sharp's classical book's translation into Russian. Maybe that translation granted a path to hobby to some of Russian players ) Thanks again, Legendary Tactics!

it is about being a good liar and stabbing your friends. that is what this game is about too. and people who succeed/love this game usually have same characteristic in real life.

I think the best Diplomacy players are the honest ones. One lie that is publicly exposed will lead to your doom.
