I just bought mine today at the Scriptus Pen Show in Toronto. I adore it.

I love mine!

The orange Aero was my first "next level" pen. I got the cursive italic version that Goulet offers. It may be my favorite pen - love the design, absolutely, but even better is how well it writes! Your silver and black is beautiful!

I was considering the orange but couldn't pass on the stripes. In my opinion it writes as well as a gold nib. Beautiful writer.

I have a Champaign Aero with a medium nib and it just glides across the page, regardless of the type of paper. Diplomat nibs are just sublime.

They are beautiful nibs. I heard they have their nibs tuned to meet their standards.

Love Diplomat pens. Have a couple Aeros, and an Elox. They have so many color choices, it’s hard to just get one. The stripes look great.

Totally agree! I love the stripes and it will look good with any ink colour.

I have been spending my summer vacation in PEI for the last 10 years. It is a special place. I have come to know the Bookmark and I agree, in comparison to the size of Charlottetown you have an excellent shop to go to. And two years ago I bought an orange Diplomat Aero in the Bookmark. It was my second Aero, the first being a black and white model. I purchased the second one for a number of reasons, but one of them was the cap on my first one I found to be loose and while it would stay on, it would swivel around the circumference of the pen when I was handling it. I just would have preferred that it remain immobile while I was handling it. That aspect of the pen, actually meant that I did not use the pen as much as I would have if it didn’t do that.I assumed it was just that particular pen, so when I was in the Bookmark and saw the orange Aero I couldn’t resist. Unfortunately, had the same (to my way of thinking) cap problem. Now that you have had yours for awhile, does it do the same thing and does it bother you. I enjoy your videos and nice to see someone who uses the same shop I do when I’m in Charlottetown. Love your city.

Hi Michael! Yes mine does that too, and to me it seems almost designed to. It moves when I'm holding the pen, but to me it doesn't feel loose. It always writes even if it hasn't been used in awhile, so it does have a good seal. The movement seems designed as a tactile sensation almost like a fidget toy something to be played with as I sit holding the pen. I also like the sound and feel when I uncap the pen. I might do a video about this!

I have one Aero and went with the green (broad). I really like the stripes version.

I was thinking about getting the green but I couldn't let the stripes go. Beautiful pen!

I can hear some feedback? Can the pen also use a cartridge? Yovo also makes nibs for other German companies like Faber Castell and Kaweco.
@PEIPenGuy Жыл бұрын
Yes there is a nice little bit of feedback on it, and it's a smooth nib. Apparently they tune the nibs to their requirements.

I recently went to my first pen show, and I got to handle a Diplomat, but it was the one with the lines on it, the "Elox", something like that, but anyway, it was soooo comfortable in my han, and I like the weight it had. I wanted to buy it, but I want an Aero, not that ugly Elox. The Aeros look the coolest, however, I want that "electric blue" metallic blue, whatever they call it, and of course they don't sell that one anymore. That orange one is decent looking, but it's not so striking like the old metalica blue ( I love blue, and that blue is a great example of why I love the color). I can however get a blue one online from Asia, but I'm slightly afraid to buy that way. I'd like the orange version IF the clip and grip part were true black; orange and black always look cool together. So, do you still like this pen, and does it really write exceptionally well? I just want a comfortable pen, that does it's ONE job, writes excellent. That's not asking too much for TWO hundred dollars, or am I just spoiled. Another reason I'm interested in this pen is that I have no interest in gold nibs; I'm not royalty. If I screw up this nib, I think they sell replacements for around 35.00 US, so i think that's $350.00 Canadian. Hey we're neighbors. I'm from Detroit. I grew up watching Mr. Dressup, and Friendly Giant on channel 9 ( CBC), and of course Hockey Night in Canada on the weekend....My dad LOVED the Maple Leafs, and HATED the Red Wings, that's probably why I love blue.

I was just in Charlottetown and planned to get to The Bookmark but had to leave two days early to dodge the storm. Next time for sure! Congratulations on your new pen. That lid click, right?
