You know it's a great song when The Everly Brothers and Art Garfunkel did a cover of this. You can even find a version on KZbin with The Everly Brothers singing with Mark and Chet Atkins on guitar and Michael McDonald on keys.

Interesting song choice to do an extended outro. They probably figured since it was never going to be a contender for a single they had nothing to lose.

This song was an edit in the LP and tape. The CD as well I think was one of the first to be fully digital DDD recorded mixed and mastered . Another great example of the era was world machine by level 42. Production still holds up today

Whenever I worry about stuff in my life, usually a car will show up around me with 'Y WORRI' on its license plate, or I'll hear the actual song play somewhere, or it may even pop up on YT! 😉 And then I don't worry any longer, or at least not as much 😊

I don't get "sleepy" or "lullaby". Soothing, yes. Kathartic possibly. Intense. This is a song I would like my dearest friend or lover play or sing for me if I am very upset, scared, in pain, or worried.

Also, it's an album track; if you listen to the whole album through in one sitting, Why Worry makes a lot more "sense". Not that it's not a good song in its own right.

While I didn't remember the previous one I do remember this one. It is a sleepy song, pleaasant, but still not as good as the two pop songs from this album, and not as good as the next two, which are my favourites.

Good point about Money & Walk of Life, being out of place, so to speak, on the album, felt same way when I bought it. Expected Money 4 nothing but came to like the rest more.

I've heard of Roy Smeck and a couple of others employing 2-handed tapping on the guitar, but I've never heard of Chapman but have seen the instrument. After everybody started tapping, Eddie Van Halen finally, developed a "guitar rest" that allows the guitar to be played in a keyboard posture. Steve Gadd!!! Aja! lol. I thought the song would be better with just vocals and guitar.
