Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZbin, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZbin. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZbin, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

Thanks for another great reaction. Cannot get enough... I'm in the end stages of a terminal ailment, but one of the things that still lifts me up, fills me with joy (and dopamine) and gives me chills every time is a Dire Straits' live performance, with Mark's amazing guitar transporting me 🥰.

He is extremely unique. I haven't heard a voice or guitar player that sounds like him

@@ShawnSalvadori I'm still in mourning after he sold that wonderful Pensa Suhr MK1 he's playing here as part of his auction of over 100 guitars earlier this year. It went for £504,000! It was such an important guitar, designed specially for him to be able to approximate the sound of both a Fender Stratocaster and a Gibson Les Paul so he didn't have to change instruments so frequently during shows. It was his primary choice of guitar from the late '80s through the '90s and has such a fantastic tone. It's sad we'll never hear him play it again. 😢

Outstanding. This actual Pensa Suhr guitar was custom made For Mark Knopfler through Rudi Pensa guitar shop in New York. It was recently auctioned at Christies London with other guitars owned by Mark. It sold for £550,00.00

The tone he gets from his Pensa guitar in this song is perfection. The lead breaks are among my favourite, albeit fairly short.

The crowd at this concert was crazy. Reminded me of Rush in Rio with the crowd singing along. This whole album imo is their greatest work combined with the quality of recording, selection of songs and a very enthusiastic crowd. Worth finding on CD.

Great performance and reaction😊♥ 'On Every Street' is one of my favorite Dire Straits albums. I recommend the title track (the studio version first, IMO...their performance of it at this concert is also great), "Planet of New Orleans," or "The Bug" official video.

Remarkably similar to Brothers in Arms. from the same concert. Same key, chords fills and solos and the outro with the pedal steel almost identical. Not saying it's not enjoyable but maybe an over hyped one trick pony? Oh! How dare I say that? I can feel the outrage already! Get a life folks - occasionally you need to leave your bedroom and venture into the real world. Feel the sun on your faces, get some Vitamin D inside you.
