It would be great if you could actually post some "facts and figures" from your rides. Like how many miles did you actually go up hill? What was the battery % at the top? How long did you wait for the battery to cool down?, and then when you got to the bottom how much battery did you recover? Stuff like that :)

Argh its Black Friday and I really want to go for one aswell, but the lack of facts as you said are annoying. I mean you can actually trust DKWAN test and the 466WH Battery is no joke. Also the 6000 Watt Motors. Only facts I know : DKWAN with Cloudwheels -> 30 km ride -> 78 kg / Max speed I saw Fabian against Evolve max speed. So its atleast on par with the EVOLVE GTR. Also it doesn't seem to overheat. But some more detailed facts, general milage would be so fukin great :D

Yeah I agree DD all the way... Silence is bliss. I only want to hear the woosh and my surroundings. Even though at live in the city we have plenty of opportunities to enjoy sounds other than traffic racket. PS: that's scenery is breathtaking. I live close to Banff which in of itself is incredible but this is on another level I must admit Fabian

Belt drive gives you basically unlimited wheel options, sizes, styles, brands, from 80mm to 8" all terrain pneumatic tires. Also pully options to change gear ratios for more low end torque or more top speed. Direct drive is very limited on wheel types and sizes. So, belt drive was not only faster in this video, he could change wheels and pullies and be even 5mph faster again. Or set up a board to have much greater range...

Direct drive is the best for you, and most people. Slight speed and torque sacrifice for quietness, and far less maintenance and moving parts.

Direkt drive has less torque and you can not change gear ratio with different pulleys but more silent and less maintenance. If you do not have a lot of hills and would go with the direct drive.

I did nearly get your direct drive model. It came down to evolve being a NDD scenario and yours were pre-order at the time. I love my evolve but the remote sucks. I like the look of your speed and remote soooo 🤞 end of the year/ next year maybe. And epic scenery, damn Switzerland is awesome!

@@krestofferlang65 why what? Not sure which you're shooting at there? I got to like the remote but the motor controller sucks. Got a defective one that engages the brakes with no warning or user input. Evolve don't acknowledge nor do they appear to be addressing the issue. Yes I ride them but just because it's the board I'm stuck with. Won't be getting again and can't recommend for that issue. Regarding Onsra it's basically the same ride just with more top end. A lot more compared to my 23/ 24mph with AT. Gets slow after a while. Probably go belt drive but looking into DIY to make the dream set-up too

Really want to get the direct drive version... Will you eventually have different models or maybe even a option to customize a board in the future. I'm just not 100% sure on the black carve but watch all your videos and you seem to play around with lots of different parts!

It's a simple board which Fabi ordered from a Chinese OEM, pretty simple stiff wooden plank, generic trucks, battery and hobbywing ESC. Expensive as well.

No direct drive is more silent than hubs because of the bigger real wheels make less noice than the thin sleeves of hub boards especially on a bit rougher surface.

Gnaaarrr, ich bin mehr als angefixt :D Du hast auf der Onsra Seite geschrieben, dass DD auf max 130mm Wheels ausgelegt ist - das macht leider ein AT-Setup "unmöglich" ? Komme von einer totalen Enttäuschung (hoffe ja noch immer es war ein Montagsprodukt) Slick Revolution Flex 2.0 Carbon - und hab mir da schon ein AT Setup gewünscht/überlegt. Hatte jedoch nen elektrischen Defekt und sitz seit 2 Monaten auf heißen Kohlen, dass ich Brett/Kohle zurück bekomme - und dann wohl auf ein Onsra umsteigen kann ;) Was würde mit AT-Wheels denn beim DD passieren? Von mir aus auch erstmal 6 Inch ;) :P

Belt are more comfortable with less vibrationa and you have more choices of wheels (vs hub). the noise may act as a safety feature to some as well. Direct drive are not ideal for people with loose rocky roads as it may damage the motor. Belt also provides more torque

Evolve, Eovan and Verreal are much much more silent than the Onsra belt which screams louder than any other belt driven board.Belts can be modified a bit more with different pulleys and belts.

He did a fake one where the Evolve was super weak and overheated but the Evolve motor controller can put out much more current and acceleration.
