Sentences HAVE to have a subject and a verb in order to be complete. One of the most common optional elements that some sentences have and others do not is the OBJECT.

Most people are wrong in considering the object of a preposition as the indirect object. Thanks for clarification.

A noun phrase referring to someone or something that is affected by the action of a transitive verb, but is not the primary object.

1:30 I only got that far before I started having diagramming sentence flashbacks 😅 That kind of torture should be banned by the Geneva Convention lol.
