Does the transfer stay on the garment after washing the garment?
@AAPrintSupplyCo2 жыл бұрын
Hello, When applied at a temperature of about 320-330 F for between 15-20 seconds, medium pressure the transfer should have an estimated wash cycle life of 50+ washes. This is a COLD PEEL and we do advise a second 'finishing press' at the same temp/pressure for 5 seconds after peeling to seal in the transfer

What about Nylon?? And Polyester??
@AAPrintSupplyCo2 жыл бұрын
Hello, We have successfully applied to treated nylon and polyester with NO issue. I would drop the application temp to 285F and do along longer press (20-25 seconds) before the cold peel

Hello, Unfortunately the company does not carry that line of equipment and I do not have access to one for filming

I just want to clear things with DTG and DTF... they're different dude. DTG means Direct-To-Garment which you are printing the items by printing it directly to a printer, no other materials or film needed. Now, DTF stands for Direct-To-Film, obviously printing the film before pressing id it onto the items. There's a big difference dude.
@AAPrintSupplyCo2 жыл бұрын
Hey there, thanks for watching. In the past I have referred to DTF as "direct to garment transfer" when using a direct to garment printer to prepare the actual print. We love these machines because they can do both!
@keenmonkeytv2 жыл бұрын
@@AAPrintSupplyCo Maybe... but you did not presented the actual printing of both dtg and dtf... as we can see, you skipped it and instead presented the pressing of the printed film which is clearly DTF. But I might say it's good to know that dtf can be printed on plastic or nylon fabric that is why I've watched your video because that idea is what I've been searching for. Just confused the difference of dtg against dtf.
@AAPrintSupplyCo2 жыл бұрын
Hello, at the time of the video all of my DTF transfers were prepared with a DTG printer. Hence, the reference as both direct to garment transfer AND DTF. We are big fans of the printers that are able to offer DTG and DTF in a single machine and recognize them as two separate practices:)

Hello, the direct to garment transfers (DTF) were all prepared with the DTG printer (Epson F2100)

@@estevanromero1114 Thank you But why not print directly on the garment using the dtg? Why print the sticker? Ps I'm debating between buying the stahls auto clam heatpress or the geo knight Any recommendation between the 2?
@AAPrintSupplyCo2 жыл бұрын
Hello, The products shown as example would not be able to pretreated or printed onto using DTG (water repellant jacket, treated leather wallet, etc). The goal here was to show using DTF with your DTG printer you can offer more products that you can not with DTG printing alone. Those are both great heat presses you are deciding between - drop me an email when you are free Estevan@aaprintsupplyco.com

Dog is direct to film and dog is direct to garment… air quotes does not change that. This is dtf direct to film ….
