How does it feel playing like this though? I've tried like hell getting used to gyro on a Dualsense controller and I just fucking can't... I play so much better without, it's too hard controlling gyro, movement, camera (or just ratcheting) with both hands.

I find it very easy and natural but using split controllers like I do I think makes it easier to get into if you are coming from a mouse background. I also only use gyro ratcheting so it's 'one stage aiming' rather than two stage with stick+gyro.

Wait, because it's one handed, is it like a mouse so my mouse aim will slightly convert here?

Well it's a different axis of movement but I think split controllers have more synergy with people coming from m/kb than regular controllers

Why do most people use reWASD to map their controller input into m/kb, it is better than the controller input? I saw most of your config, you map your controller into m/kb. I'm new to reWASD, If you confuse with my use of word im sry. And also, great video.

I always do m/kb configs, because I want the gyro to be a mouse input and using all m/kb bindings just makes it simpler to make. Also thanks!

@directedinput I see thank you. And I also have one more question for the controller that you are using, does it have gyro only on the right side or both? I'm planing to buy something like yours.(reason: i want to use it as vr controller)

@directedinput And also, I don't know whether you know this or not but if you map a switch controller into xbox and use gyro, the gyro suck. But if you map it as PS controller, the gyro works great. I tried it with gamesir t4 pro

It has gyro on both sides, but you can't really map both sides at the same time in reWASD, I would make sure you have the ability to use it as a VR controller before you get them because I haven't seen anything about that

Late comment, it keeps registering both controller and keyboard inputs

Using my config linked in the description? That's odd because it's a purely m/kb config so it should not send any controller input. Are you sure you don't have any other controller remapping software running like steam input that's turning the joycon into xinput? Another thing you can try is using the wizard tool on reWASD to 'mute all' and then save the config

Using a ps5 controller, but put the input itself to switch which seemed to fix it, odd
