Hey I had a question, hopefully the way I word it makes sense but what I'm trying to figure out is you know how with 1.0, when you're in fortnite, you could see all the islands you have whether it's published or not published and go into them if you wanted right. So with 2.0, if I make a island on uefn and wanted to go on the island without having to publish in fortnite, is that possible? Then my second question is if I want to edit some of my 1.0 maps on uefn, it converts the island, then I guess there's a way to convert back into a fortnite island, do I just publish it and it'll be back in my islands on fortnite? Because currently I edited one of my maps from 1.0 on the editor, then whenever I go back to fortnite and look through my island, its gone, even after I publish. So does this mean I can only view it through UEFN only now? Hopefully everything I said makes sense

You can start an edit session from UEFN and then you'll be in-game with 1.0 editing available but also UEFN tools since you will also have the editor open.

Whenever I upload the latest version of my island and put the code in, it puts me in a old version of my island from weeks ago. I have no idea why the game does this, it's very annoying. I'm sure I'm doing everything right, I'm uploading a privet version and doing the memory check, the website is saying it's all ok but when I put the island code in I spawn in an old version of the same map. If anyone knows what the problem is / how to fix it / what I'm doing wrong a response would be nice, thanks.

You need to create a thumbnail or have one created and then make sure it is 1920x1080 or larger. And under 2mb

Good video mate👍but after this process no one can play your map because the code it's private....and anyway this process change your original map code...if someone use your old code the map remain the same old version....i think they fix this problem soon...

You must alway launch a private test code and then when you publish it to public it will attach to the original code.

Yes. I found that out back in April 2023 because I have one so I was able to publish my map I made as a college final project but a fellow college student who was also making one for a different class didn’t have one and wasn’t able to publish his map.

Just a warning you do need to be signed up for being an island creator. You need to be 18+ and prove it using something like Passport before you can even think about posting it
