This is great! Direct intervention is the best way we have of proving to Nintendo just how much this hurts the competitive scene

What about the smash community with the p3dos and predators behind the scenes?

Did Nintendo do this so they can go after tournament holders or what?! Why would they do such a thing? It makes no sense. They have already distanced themselves so much from the community, this doesn't seem necessary.

Good on you bro. I hope if enough people do this it gains circulation and actually reaches the team that made these stupid decisions

This is a good idea but your call was terrible
@pickow Жыл бұрын
I don't know if they thought they were helping people or something because the guidelines say that you're allowed to stream sets so I guess there was an attempt to give the community legitimacy

Nintendo needs to stop doing this.

While it is great to see that people are willing to directly voice their complaints about comp smash to the company itself, I can't help but think that the effort in of itself is wasted. We live in a time where it's pretty common place for companies to not make any real changes to their product that appeases their consumers, provided they make income off said product in abundance. And aside from that, it's not like Nintendo or more specifically it's Japan branch really ever bothers to listen to feedback regarding the smash community, for better or worse. In my opinion the only thing that community can really do is just go support alternatives to smash that actually carries features that they want in their games and not allow themselves to be closely attached to IP's since that also plays a significant factor in why Nintendo and other companies alike, operate in the cutthroat manner that they do.

THANK YOU, at least we're trying this better than flailing on twitter doing fuck all and just jumping the same ol' soyjak memes nor "haha L ratio" since they don't help since people get act childish with them, and not caring for the tourney organizers themselves At least emailing or calling them is effort and Ty for that, that's how N64 for switch got better a while ago (software support feedback) UPDATE: 10 splatoon tournaments in japan got saved and got approved for licenses, its not much but at least its something
