So Hancock throws his toys out of the pram, like a baby, because he doesn't like what a professor says, causing communication between them at a critical time when it is most needed to be cut back. I hope this inquiry really asks challenging questions of him and doesn't let him off the hook.

I'm from the USA. So, basically everyone is a coward? I don't know how else to put it. After watching this video, first the woman testifying annoyed me because it didn't seem like she wanted to speak. The guy asked her to be specific and she continued with, in my opinion, vague under statements. Also, it bothers me that so many people _in power_ are easily...punked. Too often, it seems like the people who make it to positions like this woman are sycophants. Then I read your comment...I guess you can never get to her position if you were 'that _guy._' It seems like the default opinion of _people in power_ should be...not good. To be clear, I am NOT referring to UK politicians solely.

This won’t be surprising to anyone who’s worked in a public service / civil service body. From the top the agenda is set and it is who fits that agenda, whose answers go with that agenda. It is then those people who rise through the ranks and provide “advice and guidance” to ministers. It isn’t just the politicians it’s civil / public servants too. Lying, bullsh*tting, yes men. I been involved in previous swine flu and bird flu planning at local government level writing my departments procedure. But now retired I did not have the same access, plus the civil health emergency department in local government had been ended in 2014 as part of the Tory austerity programme. Councils and public health did not have the people. . By May 2020 I was contacted by my former employer to ask did I still have copies of the emergency planning as everyone who had been involved was gone. The computer servers had been change documents lost. What a joke .

Honesty 😮 put out to grass for telling the truth . Giving people a realistic timeframe with the virus 😢and any possible vaccine development. What was the problem ?? It upset Matt Hancock the secretary of state of the Grim Reaper.

These politicians behave like spoilt insecure celebrities, not being able to accept criticism, arrogant and ego driven. Unanswerable to anyone, this inquiry as interesting as it is exposes them for what they are but as always it will result in no punishment. Again at taxpayers expense.
