Soyeon composed all their title songs and part of b-side songs. Their songs all compose by members(They never get songs from other composer). The other two are Minnie and Yuqi.

The woman at the end is Jeon Soyeon, the leader, composer and producer for I-DLE. She is a total genius and has a huge amount of creative control over everything I-DLE does.

Soyeon makes sure that NXDE is a title even their ENT Company is against by it, the reason she title it NXDE is because in Korean many knetz searches for Idol and Child NXDE picture so she title it NXDE so that if someone searches it their music NXDE will show up instead of some nxdity

Its very rare to be relevant for 6-7 years in Kpop since new groups come up every year. But Gidle sure is an exception. They have been topping the charts and creating history even in their 6-7 year as a group. The only ones relevent for this long are BP, Gidle, SNSD, Twice and many 1 or 2 more. So fascinating to watch all their works since they produce their own music.

The best explanation I have heard as for why G-Idle struggles for fans isn’t because the english is bad or that the korean is bad. It is that it is often written with heavy cultural influence that foreigners don't always get. They are heavy in female empowerment but the message gets lost. Thank you for reacting! The Moulin Rouge feels are so fun!

Honestly I think that is the reason most people get drawn to them, not why they ‘struggle’ for fans. The message is usually pretty clear. It’s just that the message isn’t for everyone and not everyone finds the message they give attracting. Or they get seen as too quirky or too strong. I think it’s okay tho, this makes the fandom filled with people that actually care about stuff that matters and love real personalities.😊

@heartforall5853 All fandoms have those that perceive every comment that is not praising to be negative. Unfortunately the need to defend someone that isn't being attacked can muddy the intended message of the defender. Your politeness in doing so is appreciated, though! I often get into discussion with those insulting the lyrics as being convoluted, and I was merely sharing the best explanation that I have heard for why that isn't the case. It has nothing do with people not liking strong women singing about being strong women or any of the other positive messages 😊

I share your enthusiasm for gidle! With Mamamoo, Blackpink, and BTS kinda on the shelf these days, gidle has moved to number 1 on my group list. They are the most creative and imaginative group, always delivering new and unique story lines on such an artful stage 💎💎💎💎💎

Easily their best song post rebrand. Everything in it, the concept, the lyrics, the outfits, the moulin rouge inspiration, the classical music mixed in… it’s like it was done knowing everything i love in a song. BUT 😪 it’s one fatal flaw is being a ”soyeon and her backup dancers” song. If not for that it probably would’ve been one of my most listened to songs in 2022.

i think you should listen to billlie, they’re a fairly new girl group and their concept is very weird and mystical, plus the backstory is incredible, i won’t spoil too much but it’s basically their friend went missing and her name was billlie love and they sing songs about what happened and the lore and the backstory and it’s just really cool, i think you’d like it, their debut was RING X RING !!!
