@@pikachuthunderbolt3919 You cannot increase the number of trains. Especially during rush hour in Tokyo, one train after another comes every 2 or 3 minutes. If we increase the number of trains, once a railroad crossing is closed, it will never open. Tokyo is a very small city, so building a new underground railroad would consume a lot of time and money.

When I was in Japan for traveling, I was really shocked that there was a PUSH MAN in the subway station during rush hour. They just.. push people strongly without hesitation even in a situation when the door can never be closed... The subway is really dangerous when people are waiting for the train because there is no safe door and there were TOO many people. I'm sure if you step on the wrong foot during rush hour, you can fall far enough off the rail. There were so many people that I couldn't breathe...

Just watching the video is disgusting, but think about having to ride this Yamanote line to work every day. It is stressful outside of work. You have to raise your hands and grab the strap to avoid being called a pervert by women, endure the jolting of the train, and smell the odor emitted by others.

It's not the best place to live with all these rules it creates the worst judgement which I encounter everyday, and that's before breaking any rules, just walking differently etc.

8:10 AM, usually the time I just open my eye in my bed and most of the Japanese people are queuing for the already packed JR train, so If I assume right, they have done struggling to get up on 6:30, taking a dozy morning shower, put on their perfume maybe on their yesterday's shirt, do the make up again, and need to dress up right, and of course grab some fast breakfast anywhere, and while walking fast crossing the busy traffic intersection, their mind is already going through the work they have to do, and from what I hear most of Japanese working people love to stay out late for drink and food before go home, so meaning their sleeping hours maybe just around 6 hours, and they repeat, and repeat, and repeat, and repeat........how distress human being are !

Nammn I see... I bet It’s more depressing in the suburbs. I live in NYC so I take a train just like this everyday. There are different restaurants and bars and other things so it’s not as boring. ☹️ hang out with some friends (don’t get drunk though)...You also can find someone to marry and have kids, save up to go on trips, save up to open your own business....
