Thanks for taking the time.... can you use a different audio source such as table top players or media players and sync the time to it.?? What you did seams great if you pre program your audio. Can you create a light time line to correspond w each track in your library and then access that individual light time line when needed threw out your set.. I would like to see a vid on that if you have the time..Thanks

This is the most helpful video I have found. I am not a DJ and have been doing tons of research, watching tutorials, etc. I am trying to set up a light show for an event that we are having. I need the lights queued to music. I bought the ShowXpress 512 dongle. Do I also need a midi interface or can I usb from my sound to my computer and do this?

Denise Hayes it will trigger from a midi interface but I don't use one as of yet I was going to use a small Ableton center

use your Ipod as a HD and play them through your computer insted of the Ipod mm

Great video - I'm a DMX total newbiee but your videos are fantastic - thanks. One question related to syncing of lights and music. My goal is to design a light show that would run to a live band (no backing tracks or click tracks to sync with) - are there any ways to achieve this (like tap tempo on a controller board or something?) - thanks again

Not to sure yet I still use the cd but I think Serato is probly on top with most pro's then VDJ and Mixmister mm
