All the lionizing of Sarah Vaughn, Billy Holliday, Ella being the ultimate, but personally, Maxine Sullivan blows them all away, particularly in this rendition of Easy To Love. I love the second note how she ascends rather than dropping down..."You'd Be." Never heard another singer do that. Have applied that 2nd note ascension to my piano version of Easy To Love. Thanks for posting.

i found out about her recently with the world on a string...sitting on a rainbow....and I have fell in love. effortless artist. She needs her dues, maybe alicia keys can cover one of her songs and bring light to her legacy like beyonce did etta james (though Etta stands on her own) to the younger generation. Music like this should not be capsuled in a time period! Love it. Thanks
