With the blessed earth and a mob fan, a sacrifice altar is stupidly easy to get set up. Also, item transporters make automating slate production easy.

The sandwiches aren't stacking simply because one stack is named and the other isn't. If they share the same ingredients in the same order they'll stack as long as you keep them unnamed or name them the same.

@@Redalert9r9r Close. The Culinary Station doesn't remember the name you last entered for your crafted sandwiches and clears it upon closing. The first set of sandwiches he made were called DireYum, but for the second set he left the name field empty so it gave the sandwich the default name, which is just [list of ingredients] Sandwich. In other words, Dire once again punished for being clever.

I also love blood Magic. You should see if liquid meat from industrial foregoing gives you saturation (refill hunger), and just sit on a bucket of it to fill your altar. you should also get a mob farm for the demon will you will need and there is a thing called the Sentient Armour Gem for when you want diamond armour. Living armour is also really useful later on. Diamond protection and adapts to what you do. eg. run a lot and be faster, or sacrifice your blood a lot and fill more, or regen a lot of health and get more.

Increasing tick accelertion in the middle of the cycle is such a waste, since the timer doesn't restart and you are wasting half of it. Also tick accelerating two pots with 16x is way more efficient than accellerating one pot to 32x.

I'm not sure on what you mean. If you use it on one pot for x2 then a different one with x2, wait 10 seconds and tick again to x4, few seconds again and x8 you'll notice the x8 has lasted longer than the x2.

Mojang could have looked at what the community was calling it though and not added an item with that name. Before vanilla added smooth stone, lots of people had been calling stone "smooth stone" to differentiate it from cobble and (in modded at least) the other types of stone that ore dictionary with it.

@@LupusSolitarius590 I suppose that’s true, yes, but that’s them trying to solve a problem that shouldn’t exist. I always just called it stone myself, because the slab form was different and I called that a smooth stone slab (which it was eventually renamed to anyway). I couldn’t think of a more fitting name for the full block than smooth stone now, while the original stone is just a very basic vanilla stone block.

@@LupusSolitarius590 Additionally, your sentence alone shows how easy it is to differentiate it. Players don’t call it “cobblestone” most of the time, but just the short form “cobble”, and even if it is ore dictionaried in mods with diorite, andesite, granite, those all have distinct names too. Stone is, quite literally, the only block named just “stone”. If I were telling a player on my world I needed stone for a crafting recipe and wanted to clarify, I usually said “regular stone, not diorite or etc”

I just started this pack a couple of days ago. was really struggling to get a decent foothold, felt like I fought for everything. then I got a diamond jetpack as a random reward, and combined with cardboard boxes, just broke the nether completely. I now have a blaze spawner in my base, and access to powah generators, and lifes good.

It's a good thing you went with refined. I started a play through and went AE2 because you said you were doing it that way. Long story short AE2 doesn't have a wireless crafting grid only a wireless terminal. No clue why they took it out in this pack but seems like they did, even the quests reflect it. no quest for an AE2 wireless crafter.

I don't think it's a matter of taking it out; it needs to be provided by another mod because there isn't one in the default AE2, and I think the only Forge mod that adds one seems to have had some pretty substantial bugs in the last few months.

Not that this means it's permanently broken or anything, but it'd make a lot of sense that it's not included if they couldn't get it working well during testing. Modded seems like a perpetual game of "two steps forward, one step back" when it comes to new versions rendering good older stuff unavailable.

Mystical Agriculture has enderman seeds which will produce the enderman essence and you can craft 8 enderman essence into a bunch of ender pearls

@Dire: For this season you should challenge yourself and only use renewable energy sources (renewable as in real life renewable. So a coal generator with a mystical agriculture setup with coal plants next door does not count!). There are so many options and you hardly ever explore them! (Yes, I know, they are much less fun to automate. But the point still is: You hardly ever use them to and try to fully power your base with them)

once you use the ender lily seeds to get enough ender pearls for mystical agriculture, you should totally switch over to that as I suspect with all the growth modifiers you would be able to cash in on pearls in very short order as a result.

So, I have a question for everyone here. I'm playing this pack and I got, as a reward a while ago, a few 8x compressed experience pellets from mini utilities. I thought nothing of it and, figuring it'd be maybe a hundred levels or so, thought I'd use them, grab something to tank the rest of the xp, and be on my merry way. I was wrong. Very, very wrong. It was like 6k levels. I'm trying to figure out the best way to a) get the exp out of me and b) store it. Any ideas?

@@istvan0329 The crystal can only hold about 98 levels from 1-98, WITH Holding IV. It'll take a LONG TIME, as just level 6,000 to 5,999 is about 130 levels worth of experience. My suggestion would be to either craft thousands of the crystals and enchant them all with holding IV, fill em, and put them in storage, or risk losing about half of it or more, and killing yourself in front of an Absorption Hopper connected to a VERY LARGE tank, like a Supreme Black Hole Tank, or similar. The hopper will absorb the exp pellets that drop and place them into the tank. (This method is very unreliable, so back up your save, as you can lose anywhere between 50-95% of your exp on death)

@@istvan0329 Yeah, I was using that for... a while and had only removed 10 levels. MC started having issues trying to figure out how much I was pulling out of myself and not letting the crystal pull in full blocks. Holding 4, of course, because it's not like I have an enchanting problem.

@@DizzyDJW I'm currently using a crystal. Filled up a dynamic tank and upgraded Fluid Cell and was didn't even dent the exp I had. I've blown so much exp on enchanting it's... kinda crazy. I don't have a Forgoing setup yet, though I probably should get that going all things considered.

@@istvan0329 I also have found a glitch with the crystal. At the level I am, it doesn't seem to recognize that I have levels, but pulls from only my current bar. I don't know if it's because of the sheer amount of exp I have or the crystal would do it with lower levels, but my number level hasn't gone down, even though I clearly should be losing them into the crystal.

Dire. I'm not sure how to tell you this but...... Stone was NEVER EVER EVER called Smooth Stone IN the game. That's just something players did because for SOME reason they decided to call "Cobble" just Stone and they called actual Stone "Smooth Stone". Mojang NEVER called Stone, Smooth Stone.

You have really used the RFTools wireless buff machine ( I don't remember the name) so maybe you should try and it and check if it has a saturation instead of regen so you won't have to worry about food at all
