I don’t have to like his politics to like his work either. He gave up his career to be a Dad. He has some extreme positive thinking healing beliefs but he is a cancer survivor so I’ll give him a pass. Talented guy, he actually pulled off a singing number on the Donnie and Marie show with Marie withOUT jumping the shark. I didn’t know the guy could sing!

Always growing up felt like being accused of a crime he didn't commit was such a left-wing concept yes they use guns but they were always trying to help the little guy I've never understood why the cast think it's a conservative show clearly standing up for regular working-class people against Crooks and and big business which that's how I looked at it, I've always had a real fondness for dirk Benedict and Dwight Schultz of course George Peppard and mr. T or the big stars but the cast in general is just really interesting people and it doesn't really change how I feel about the show to know how they perceive themselves and their political agenda has nothing to do with why I like them there's some of my favorite people ever

My mom doesn’t like Dirk (and many other people she had always liked) because she disagrees with him. I may not agree with him but I grew up with the a team and I still like him as a person.
