That seemed a bit like hard work mate. Being up there when it's blowing like that really kills it. It's almost as bad as rain I reckon. Better than being at work though!

Hey Cam, crackin episode mate. Dirk Hartog Island looks awesome. Out of curiosity where would be your ultimate bucket list adventure location in WA? Really dig the laid back approach to the current videos... they seem like "This is what I'm doing just because I enjoy doing it" please don't change as that's what makes this channel awesome.
@WildTouring3 жыл бұрын
Cheers Phil. Tough question mate! Id love to island hop the Abrolhos or Dampier Archipelago. On the mainland- maybe a poke around Oombulgurri to Kalumburu way 👍🏼
@paulmasson59713 жыл бұрын
Corrugations. What is it with DPAW roads. It seems that they are the worst around. Think Karijini, Ningaloo Station, Steep Point and Dirk Hartog apparently( I haven’t been there yet). With the amount of tourists around at the moment and therefore money generated surely it wouldn’t be hard to grade roads every now and then.

Hi Cam g’day great trip vid again, but as a whiskey lover I am shocked! Monkey Shoulder ?! A real headache water! Even diluted with Coke it’s hard core…. Hope next trip you can get your hands on a decent Single Malt ! Cheers mate and keep the sunny side up
@WildTouring3 жыл бұрын
Haha cheers mate, I probably don’t have the most refined palette 😂 and suggestions for a single malt to try?
@holgermuller29873 жыл бұрын
@@WildTouring best bet will be a whiskey tasting event to go for to find out what your taste is. Non cool filtered is a criteria, sweet or Torf taste, try for beginning a Glenfarclas above 18 years old and cask strength if you can get it in Australia. Cheers

Great videos (1&2) Going through the same calculation process with my power system now that I have lithium. Am really interested to see what your decision will be on your power system will be. At the moment it looks like I will be putting the solar panel back on the roof as I want to permanently install a bushmans fridge in the 200 series like you did with yours. Great videos.

Great trip Cam wind is bad is that a seasonal thing over there?
@WildTouring3 жыл бұрын
Cheers Terry. It can be a bit hit and miss with the weather along that stretch of coast. The week after we left that whole area was a glass off 😂 But the general consensus is May/June/July is the sweet spot for mild temps and less wind.

@WildTouring3 жыл бұрын
Cheers mate! With a Bub due in under four weeks we’re laying low for a bit. We’ll be looking for a new van to fit us all, and then we’ll back into it as a bigger family! In the mean time I’m busy sorting out the car, van shopping and solo tripping 👍🏼

Great series Cam, see you at the show. We had a week on DHI, stayed a night at the homestead, then up to Turtle Bay for 4 nights (we only ended up having three as the last day it blew its arse off) and then back to the Homestead. I think we saw as much as we wanted. Bucket list item yep ☑️, would I go back again ❌, well not with my wife, she’s done it, ticked it off. May go back for a trip with my boys at some stage. I think the corrugations in and out, on the island all make it part of the journey and makes it special for those who experience it. Make it too easy you’ll get too many f*cktards over there stuffing for the rest of us. Any plans on doing any desert trips? Out Goldfields way, Connie Sue, Ann Beadell etc?
@WildTouring3 жыл бұрын
Gday Ashley, totally agree- the ruggedness and remoteness is part of the charm, and keeps the idiots away. Funny you ask about desert trips, me and a couple of mates have been talking a lot about doing something inland next year! See you at the show mate, cheers!
