It’s actually crazy, i got in a dirt bike crash on the 17th. I ended up hitting a tree after rolling a jump, front tire got squirly and i whisky throttled into the tree. I ended up with 4 broken ribs, both wrists broken, lacerations in my liver and spleen and a concussion. Lucky to be alive. I’m happy you are okay Christian and hope for a speedy recovery.

Recovery sucks i feel every bit of what your going through and some August 31st 2021 i feel 20 feet off a ladder and broke my spine and cut my spinnal card i have 2 titaniam rods in my back im juat getting to where i can walk with a cane alittle but still have to have everyone get stuff for me i was paralyzed from the chest down for almost 7 mounths i had to be sat up with a brace on and rolled over i could do anything on my own for 7 or 8 mounths this video takes alot to put up and to even make it takes a menteal toll on your mind and body but watching you brayden and Garretts videos help me get through a very rough time ill never get back to my line of work for almost a year with no pay im glad to hear tou will make it back to riding woth the boys

I broke my fibula in 2 places and my tibia in one with a gnarly compound fracture, broke my foot in 2 places and dislocated my hip all in one crash. I have a titanium rod down my fibula and tibia spent 4 dags in the hospital and just had a 2cnd surgery the other day with a possoble third. Ride safe everyone and good recoveries!

Just be careful with the pain pills man they took 10 years of my life glad I got it back but get off of them as soon as you can. That's a battle I don't want to see anybody go through. But hope you heal up man I definitely would leave the rod in there my dad's had one in there for 30 years and not a problem.

@kennymay3036 I feel ya my man. Pain pills took over my life for 15 years! Finally got clean on 10/07/19 haven’t touched a pain pill since! Even went thru two surgeries! Knee surgery in March of 2021 and another on my hand when I almost cut two fingers off on a tablesaw accident at work in Oct of 2021. Managed my pain with Tylenol and ibuprofen because I refused the pain pills they tried to give me. Way to go on your recovery 👍🏻👍🏻

My buddy crashed a 3 wheeler 2 or 3 years ago and has been paralyzed from the waist down ever since so he could tell you you should definitely be thankful for being able to walk again. Hope you heal well

Feel ya just got back on a bike after 5 months I snapped my humerous straight in two and lost all feeling in 3 of my fingers, but it’s the best feeling to get back on the bike, hope you recover good

Keep the rod in...good luck for such a severe break your a beast I had compound elbow fracture with torn ucl etc.surgeries sucked..I didn't react well..so kudos for handling it like a boss

I broke my femur on my left leg when I was a kid and I wasn’t able to walk up to 6-8 months. But as soon as my leg healed properly I got the rod taken out. My knee cap is shifting about 90 degrees to the left and I still have no feeling from my knee cap and up about 3 inches . And also still till this day it happens here and there I’ll get a sharp pain in my leg for about 5 seconds. Hope your recovery goes smoothly!!!

I about LMAO when he commented about getting sleep at the hospital. I can confirm that you do NOT get any rest while staying in the hospital. After about the 2nd or 3rd day you are thinking of ways to sneak out of the hospital to go sleep in your car if it is in the parking lot. In addition to lack of sleep, the hospital beds are horrible for anyone with back problems. Most of the narcotic pain meds I received were for the pain caused by the bed and not the surgery I just had. They probably make it so bad so you are extra careful in life not to end up back in the hospital? I hope your recovery went well. And as for the rod in your leg, if it is not causing any problems just leave it in. I have had my metal brackets in my lower spine for decades and they have not caused any issues that I can tell.

I broke both of my feet and nearly broke my heel off a few years back. Over the span of a year, I had 4 surgeries and plates and screws put in. However, both plates and all screws have since been removed and I have no complaints besides the fact I skipped PT (Don't recommend). Good luck buddy and I hope you a quick recovery.

I broke my femur last year in January on a four wheeler. They put a plate and 8 screws in it. I got it removed since I’m still growing. It was starting to cause pain and my uncle broke his collar bone and left his hardware in, he completely regrets it because it causes him a lot of pain. I would suggest removing it but wish u the best man

I had the same injury a couple of years ago, I got 8 screws and a plate in my leg not a rod maybe cause I’m from Australia. I got mine removed and it felt a lot better and a now it feels better than ever. Hope you get better soon.

Broke both bones in my lower right leg fell 20 foot from tree Stand in October and landed straight legged heard the snapped it was pretty rough didn’t get out of a cast/ walking boot until the beginning of February

I can't imagine what that felt like. Do you notice any differences two years later? I have yet to break anything but I have gone OTB on my mountain bike and gave myself a grade 3 AC separation and that hurt really bad. Can't imagine what a break would feel like.

Dang man I wouldn’t wish breaking a leg on anyone back about a year and a half ago I broke my tib and fib in my right leg and both bones where sticking out of my leg , the First Day of Christmas break on my friends quad and I hit a fox hole and the four wheeler flipped and I’ve had zero issues with it so far thank the lord but I’m praying that you will make it back to 100% and hope you read this and god bless 🙏
