Now I am confused. Others say the weight of the rear chassis is carried by the lift arm. The links steer the chassis in relation to the axel. Also there is major difference between spring load and wheel load. Angle of the shock and distance from the tire centerline come into play. B

I agree with you. There is a difference between wheel load and spring load. Most people use these terms interchangeably because I don’t think they want to figure out the correction between the two. Your point of there being a difference between wheel load and spring load is exactly why I say these spring smashers are only fancy ride height machines. I’m not so sure about the lift arm supporting the rear of the chassis. I look at this only as torque absorbs ion to keep traction in the rear tires. The springs and shocks in the rear along with the 4 links, unfortunately, actually support the rear of the chassis. Thanks for watching.
