I absolutely love how everything going on in the sky is reflected into the water, such a small detail but so nice

I'm in the process of writing a comic and I'm currently considering what songs my characters might sing at a karaoke night to help me to delve deeper into their psyches. This is definitely one of them, the lyrics are fantastic and resonate rather well with one of my characters that has gone through a painful loss.
@MedeivalWarfare3 жыл бұрын
It’s always nice to meet another story teller! I do agree; this music is great for describing painful loss but also recollection and acceptance. If you’d be willing to talk and collab on projects, I’m all for it.

I love how in the chorus, the lyric text changes to cartoony and large text like those old 1900s posters. Really fits the cartoon that plays between the lyrics as well.

Dance rock grooves with mythological chanting and a searing pop chorus only you guys would be insane enough to try this and make it work, but god damn if you didn't do just that

You've outdone yourselves with this album, and I know my favourite song is up next. I'm still trying to decipher the full story, but at least we know the overarching theme.

I like how the images kind of sync with the music, it’s my favorite thing in animations with songs in the background, it’s just so satisfying and visually appealing. Also the part where the singer has a different sound/tone (hard to describe) and the font changes is a really nice detail
@amandaandrews98594 жыл бұрын
This is the best song on the album by far, but all of them have wowed me (as per usual this group is amazing). 3:35 - 4:25 is stellar; I can't get enough of the instrumental and vocals. I can't wait to learn the story behind this one!

brain has been tickled wowowow why isn't this topping the charts I LOVE THIS,, the way the super heavy guitar and choir are chopped up between solo guitar is so scrumptious i just adore this composition and then the CHORUS COMES IN and it's like a BREATH OF FRESH AIR because it flows so well after the verses being choppy and thick (in a good way) and then the GUITAR SOLO AAAA was so chaotic and free??? i love it aeeeee my music brain is going wee rn ALSO THE FALLING/ASCENDING SYNTH IS A NICE TOUCH THAT I DIDN'T NOTICE WITHOUT HEADPHONES and the bridge feels like i'm going down a tunnel to go kill god chef's kiss and the ending is so abrupt it's like a cliffhanger and i want moreee

I find myself coming back to this song again and again. The harmonization is beautiful, the instruments make me wanna get up and stomp, and the lyrics make me need to sing at the top of my lungs! I think this song will always be one of my favorites and my go-to for when I want to introduce DPR to my friends.
