Hey what do you use for capturing and showing keyboard input (mainly for arrows and space) because i wasn't able to find a program that would do those, only for WSAD and i cant drive on keyboard with my left hand.

I use OBS for capturing the footage and a plugin called Input Overlay to record the keystrokes I made my own templates though, but simple photoshop and computing knowledge is enough to make one

Even i play Dirt Rally 2.0 with a keyboard so i finally found someone who plays it on the keyboard like me :) And the way we use our keys is quite similar.......

@@TUB_HUB it requires practice it's not like how u control a car in nfs or Forza it's quite different you have to keep feathering the throttle instead of keeping it pressed and keep giving the turning inputs and braking along the way while blasting through the corners, although how u control the car changes significantly when you are on gravel and when u are on tarmac as then the car becomes quite grippy but also develops a bit of understeer so u have to brake more and u can't slide the car or inertia drift it like on gravel.......

That's a good question! The setups are all default, I have never changed the settings. As for assist, there are none. I know.... the answer is quite underwhelming haha.

@@leslietan1285 You need to sort of "read" the state of the car and predict whether it will oversteer or understeer based on the visual cues. You also need A LOT of time and dedication. It's basically Dark Souls of driving games, so be prepared to fail a lot.

Yes, I use brakes and handbrakes, sometimes using them at the same time, but that is very rare. In terms of this track, there's not much need to use brakes except for the medium and square corners, since most of the fast corners could be tackled in full throttle

For me it is almost impossible to play DIRT Rally with the keyboard. I have found no logic to predict oversteer/understeer....the car bumps like crazy. Too much wasted time. I quit and uninstalled the game. The game was supposed to come with a bundled racing wheel otherwise is unplayable.
