Those tarmac physics are definitelly not realistic at all. The Dirt surfaces are better. Althought it feels that there’s too much mechanical grip and you don’t need to transfer weight as much as you would in real life and find a good rhythm to go through a series of corners. And how do you know whether I can or cannot drive? Get off with that fallacy and use real arguments.

I'm driving on a Delta S4 and the handling is totally wild compared to a modern chassis! I managed to time 2:11 with all assists off, manual clutch, h shifter and Moza R5 direct drive wheel. I need to tweak setup as it's very easy to loose grip with a Group B car.

Any one got any recommended settings for a G29 wheel? I've got all vibrations on 150 (or max) and steering saturation on 45. Generally feels like the car is super 'nosey' and really quick to turn in its difficult to be smooth, especially in the short wheel base cars. The only car that handles pretty well for me is either Colin's Legacy or Tommi Makien's Evo.

I believe it kind of makes sense, since these are country roads not a well kept race track. There would be dirt, sand and other stuff, that you wouldn't see on a race track .

CRsedmicky if you can there is 2 option: it s an Australian/Finland stage which is nearly all straight or you re playing in arcade mode. Even Loeb never get a 90% flat out on telemetry in a tarmac stage. Don t get me wrong your driving is good and aggressive, but in the real world you Will probably crash after 4 turns driving that way...

CRsedmicky Exactly, this is why I use sim to train for Real life competition. But you can t train yourself if you take 4 consecutive "3 turns" flatout without braking. That s not good. Another point I find weak on dirt series is the forcefeedback system...

As a total Simhead I also prefer the most realistic approach (drivin' Sims like ACC, R3E,rF2 and RBR years ago, and I love DR 2.0 even with that tarmac issues, on loose surfaces it's top notch ) - though nice ride nontheless m8 ;), if you like it this way, why bother ? Though I understand now how some "World Records" happen :) Codies/Racenet should at least differ between times set with realistic settings and non realistic settings incl. driving aids,that's what makes Hotlapping with DR a bit fishy in my eyes....it's their fault, not yours...
