Yamahas handle well and are well-built. They will make my next atv. Why, though, do they insist on putting "looks" items on their top of the line models but don't bother putting on a winch or radial tires (like Arctic Cat does on their top models)?

Yamaha's competitors obviously aren't worried about lawsuits. People are trading these machines daily for machines with the ponies. 40 mph in a 700cc engine don't cut it with a lot of consumers.

My dad has this exact rhino and it does 52mph stock how do you get only 37 mph ?

+Clark Hudnall They'll go about 41 stock. Yours may have the guages set to km/h instead of mph.

+Kegan Wilson A clutch kit will help a lot, the filter won't change anything. I'd definitely stick with a foam filter.

How can you take the limiter off of a FI rhino? Do you use a CDI or another device or am I out of luck?

Hello everyone I live in Ontario Canada and I have a 2006 660 Rhino and its all stock and can barley get 60 kmh out of it. anyone have suggestions on how to improve the performance on a budget.

I don't know if he can dust a xp or not, but he owned my rzr s when the rhino was a 777cc. Now it's much faster, and can pull away from a 1000 Commander with no trouble on the trails. As far as mods, he's not talking much now, but I know it's like 13:1 compression now, and I think it's stroked and bored about as much as you can go. It is very impressive.

My Hisun Axis 700 looks pretty much identical to the rhino and it runs about 55 to 60 on open road and it came factory with 3500 pound winch windshield and top for probably half the price of this rino thats crazy they are the same machine !

@Yfz450Rider1995 yeah CDI or ECU. and a clutch kit. we have this exact rhino and i am looking at the ECU by Rick’s motor sports it adds 5+ HP and 10+ mph and average of 14mph gain. and than a clutch kit.

I have this exact one(2011 sport) and it does 41MPH all stock! i’m about to sell a dirt bike and am going to get wider wheels and tires and a MSD CID. and should get it going about 51 or 52. than when i get the money(along with doing stuff to my truck) i’m going to get a clutch kit and maybe exhaust.

67 what? kmh or mph? on the video he is talking about mph..and on the video itself at 1:54 they do show it going 66 kmh (which is actually 41mph)..even tho he says it will go only 37mph..

I like the looks, feel. ergonomics, and size of the Rhino better than any Side x Side. Just not enough power. If they ever keep this similar look and take that 40 hp single out and put an 80 hp twin in it I'll be sold.

It's sad that people who don't take responsability for their own actions can ruin a machine. There is alot of power hiding in that Rhino. We ride with a guy who has a cam, exhaust, piston upgrade, cdi, and a clutch kit that adds top speed. He can outrun RZRs.

the engine is defently capable going faster. i have 2011 rhino and went up to 80k/ph with it. im the 5 person that own the machine so there is a chance someone did something with the engine in the past. the real problem with it is the rev limiter sensor. every 2 week we need to clean it so it stop brake the engine in 40kph. until we will buy new one.

37 km an hour is fine for Saskatchewan but not for BC we have these things called mountains this guy does not have Near The Experience nor the writing aptitude to justify his review I had my first Yamaha product in 1975 and you can tell from the video he hit does no hill climbing good luck getting 37 kilometers an hour up miles

I can't see myself spending the money for this side by side and only be able to go 37 mph the kids will be pssing me on their peddle bikes.The reason for getting a bigger one is to be able to go faster
