I never thought to ask this, at first I thought that "Arena crash" was a spoof title for the videos...but seeing the design of these tracks, I wonder if they are deliberately designed to be almost impossible to ride without crashing....we have Arena Cross in my neck of the woods, and the riders I know who race that series haven't told me about this much carnage...
