I can not understand why people always discuss which is the better machine, a Polaris or a Can Am. Everyone has their own requirements and experiences. I love my new Sportsman XP 1000 my buddy his Can Am. So what's the Problem? Have a nice day, great video.

sportsman in rock crawling....can am in mudding. Ive done both and have both. AWD is a HUGEEE advantage vs a visco lok when rock crawling but for some reason can am handles better in the mud when I lived in Florida. I now live in Colorado and seen accidents bc CanAms visco lok

Honestly, whatever machine you like to ride, Polaris are softer, more gentle, but still super fun machines. And Can Ams are more hardcore, rough, brutal machines, which some people like. But whatever fits your fancy.

My wife has a 850 touring and she let me ride it and I simple can't believe the power these machines have compared to my 05 mv700. Just insane amount of power at hand. Polaris was smart to putting a mode for work and standard riding for those of us who just don't need that kind of power but like to have it once in awhile. I just got to say WOW

makes ya feel old doesn't it lol. I can remember when Polaris made the original 400 2 stroke Sportsman and i used to drool over one. Then at the same time the Honda 300EX was the most popular and fastest 4 stroke sport quad. About the time i had the money to buy a 300, Honda drops the 400EX on the scene and it was the hottest thing on 4 wheels lol. I bought a new 400ex in 2001 and rode it for 10 years. So much has changed in such short time. I think quads are so big and powerful now they self destruct if you push them a little. Its not like the old days when you could bang on a Honda Fourtrax for years and never break anything. I got a hunch thats why Kawasaki wont go bigger than the 750 brute Force, Yamaha stays with big single cylinders, and Honda....well thats a different story. I think the Japanese decided they woud rather keep the reliability instead of competing for Horsepower

tokslut sorta. A few minor details in plastic. Tires are different. The 2019 tires a really cool, but I would prefer the lighter tread. Color is another difference. Still wish they had copper and red, I don’t like the base model blue on the 2019, and apparently few people do. Which is why you see people getting the premium which has metallic blue which is pretty good

I've got a 2015. I wonder if the 17 model gets a better front diff. my pinion bearing plate blew apart. if it's the same then anyone's first upgrade should be a hd Atv Gear pinion plate. if you break the pinion plate you have no choice but to trailer it out of the Bush or the front drive shaft that is always turning destroys everything close to it. 1700 in parts to fix mine. warranty did not fix it.

I like the cargo boxes on my 2013 better. There’s almost no room in the front cab now and the rear storage is accessible from the top of the rack not from the rear. So if you have a box or some sort of luggage on the rack, it has to be removed first. I prefer the old style rear box access for recovery gear, even if I flopped it completely upside down I can still get to some recovery gear. Arched A arms are cool but the suck for mounting guards Lastly, glad they upgraded Exhaust, I run Hot Seats mine.

I'm not a huge fan of the body style of this quad it looks like a ugly mix of the scrambler and sportsman! They should have just left it alone because it's boxy style made it look tough!

Dan// 100% agreed. it looks sick and a 1000cc V-Twin sounds great, but I can only imagine how trash the reliability is.

Polaris should work to be more reliable instead of claiming being the most powerfull !! Polaris ATV doesn't worth for what you pay, that's it reliability = ZERO My Polaris Scrambler 850 XP 2013 broke down few weeks ago with only 3500 miles. Timing pulley slipped, It's a disaster inside, motor needs to be rebuild. Polaris France doesn't want to ear anything and ask 7000€ for repairs. I understand now why Yamaha's owners say : Whatever you go with a Yamaha Grizzly, you always come back.
