I can not understand why people always discuss which is the better machine, a Polaris or a Can Am. Everyone has their own requirements and experiences. I love my new Sportsman XP 1000 my buddy his Can Am. So what's the Problem? Have a nice day, great video.

makes ya feel old doesn't it lol. I can remember when Polaris made the original 400 2 stroke Sportsman and i used to drool over one. Then at the same time the Honda 300EX was the most popular and fastest 4 stroke sport quad. About the time i had the money to buy a 300, Honda drops the 400EX on the scene and it was the hottest thing on 4 wheels lol. I bought a new 400ex in 2001 and rode it for 10 years. So much has changed in such short time. I think quads are so big and powerful now they self destruct if you push them a little. Its not like the old days when you could bang on a Honda Fourtrax for years and never break anything. I got a hunch thats why Kawasaki wont go bigger than the 750 brute Force, Yamaha stays with big single cylinders, and Honda....well thats a different story. I think the Japanese decided they woud rather keep the reliability instead of competing for Horsepower

I've got a 2015. I wonder if the 17 model gets a better front diff. my pinion bearing plate blew apart. if it's the same then anyone's first upgrade should be a hd Atv Gear pinion plate. if you break the pinion plate you have no choice but to trailer it out of the Bush or the front drive shaft that is always turning destroys everything close to it. 1700 in parts to fix mine. warranty did not fix it.

I like the cargo boxes on my 2013 better. There’s almost no room in the front cab now and the rear storage is accessible from the top of the rack not from the rear. So if you have a box or some sort of luggage on the rack, it has to be removed first. I prefer the old style rear box access for recovery gear, even if I flopped it completely upside down I can still get to some recovery gear. Arched A arms are cool but the suck for mounting guards Lastly, glad they upgraded Exhaust, I run Hot Seats mine.
