I'm not into dancing movies at all, but I enjoyed Dirty Dancing and Footloose. They were actually quality flicks with nice cast, atmosphere and memorable music. Jennifer Gray was really cute and played a lovable, humble and goodhearted girl. The nose job was totally unnecessary. I really liked her distinctive beauty. She was one on a million. Also Patrick Swayze was a cool, charismatic dude in this movie. He kinda look like a bad boy, but was actually a decent and responsible man. I miss movies like this that had characters that could serve as role models.

@@MsWiccanpriestess the mom in the movie was a recast the first mom was given to Lynne Lipton The part of Baby's mother was given initially to Lynne Lipton, who is briefly visible in the beginning, when the Houseman family first pulls into Kellerman's (she is in the front seat for a few seconds; her blonde hair is the only indication), but she became ill during the first week of shooting and was replaced by Kelly Bishop, who had already been cast to play Vivian Pressman, the highly sexed resort guest. Bishop moved into the role of Mrs. Houseman, and the film's assistant choreographer Miranda Garrison took on the part of Vivian.

It's good acting skills. Ingrid Bergman really disliked Bogart, too, but they powered through Casablanca and it's a world class timeless love story.

I was in Germany when they broke down the Berlin Wall and they we're playing this track . Even the Russian military who were present at the moment threw their guns away and started dancing with the Polish policemen . That's a moment that I won't forget and a proof that music brings people together

+Udana Wijesuriya well worry not. I've come to realize just as our generation has had its moments and memories that become a part of its history like this one, the younger generation will find its own and make their own history. Its good to you because it's memorable and a part of you growing up, but for the younger generation they have their own moments to enjoy as much as this.

They probably disliked it because of the terrible editing. Jake was pissed before the dance, not during, and whoever pieced this together kept portraying him as being ticked throughout the entire dance, but he actually was extremely proud. Why they did that.....I have no idea. TRUST ME, I know every second of that scene. 😀❤️
