Did he use 'Asshole' in Where eagles dare? It's rated as a family film - or at least it is in the UK. (Rated PG)
@PointReflex4 жыл бұрын
@@JP1234815 In the United States the PG rating from 70's~80's was WAY more different than the rating used in the 90's... wich by it's own is also WAY more different than the rating used today. - Back then you could show blood, guts, some low profile nudity and some trading of insults in films with the PG rating, mostly because it actually meant Parental Guidence wich put the final desition on the parents NOT in the crew doing the film. Nowsdays is the other way around, PG means "anything made for kids above 5 does not compute" and the blame is on the crew because parents are NOT supposed to control what their kids watch on TV. - On a side note the films produced under the Pre-Code era (1910~193X) had the perfect ballance of nudity, insults and blood. Kids could go to the cinema to watch people get stabbed in the heart or some girls get partially undressed in their rooms, this last part was NOT Fanservice or done for cheap erections, people were portrayed as REAL people of the time without censorship, hell even lesbians or gay characters, relationships and story arcs were presented in full without restriction... but then, the RATE CODE came and blew everything away.
