I love games like this because of the psychology of lying. Without spoiling, in round 1 the liar was the only person to provide their own counter argument. Everyone else shared their reasons why they thought a different person did or didn’t do the thing. But one person brought up a reason it 100% couldn’t be them. Which is my favorite thing about lying games. When you provide facts about yourself for 2 truths and a lie or a game like this, you likely provide truths that seem out of place for your character. So it makes sense that it would be easy to say “does that sound like me”. In the second round the liar tried to the low profile approach by piggy backing on other people’s defenses. When one contestant asked two contestants to offer their take, the liar immediately agreed with the other person instead of providing their own reason.

@OG_Wonder_Woman
@OG_Wonder_Woman 2 жыл бұрын
@@redwitch95 Can confirm, it's a horror movie. I was a 21 year old girl, 4 firemen were carrying me out of the scene, one leg practically shattered. They said, we called an ambulance. I said, Noooo! Can't afford it! They said then let us take you in the truck, with the sirens. But that cost money too. So I said, I'll get to the hospital on my own, I need it to be free because I can't even pay for surgery I'm gonna need! They were really sad and upset, but there was nothing they could do. I was in agony. They put an inflatable brace on my leg to try to prevent more damage, but it was really dangerous for me to be off a stretcher right then. I spent the next two weeks at hospitals screaming, No, I'll do without! Desperately trying to keep costs down. And I was one of the 'lucky ones' with corporate insurance. It was devastating but it would have put me at least 100k in debt if I didn't have the insurance through my partner's job. Probably more, since I needed multiple surgeries. Generational medical debt destroyed my future before it even began, as it did my parents before me. My niece had medical bill collectors calling already, ruining her credit, at barely 18, due to an unavoidable emergency room visit. Medical care needs to be a human right. Right now, it's a form of enslavement in the US. Those in the UK and elsewhere need to watch out, the US insurance lobby is trying to dismantle the national healthcare in the UK. They need more slaves, I mean, customers. Defend your healthcare, guys, don't let them take it!
@loodlebop
@loodlebop 2 жыл бұрын
@@OG_Wonder_Woman that's awful I'm sorry to hear that. Yes I've seen the evidence that this genuinely evil system is trying to invade the uk and our stupid prime minister seems to want it. Not all healthcare in the UK is free but when it comes to your situation, you wouldn't have spent a single penny except perhaps a cab home unless someone collected you. You shouldn't be charged to not die in an accident, or hold your baby after childbirth. I've actually avoided offers to go to the USA on the chance I'll get sick or trip over or something silly
@OG_Wonder_Woman
@OG_Wonder_Woman 2 жыл бұрын
@@loodlebop Honestly, that was probably wise of you. I actually had an opportunity to move to the UK when I was a teen, and man...I think about that a lot. My father got offered a job in the UK when I was 16, and I really wanted to go. I urged him to take it and he wanted it too, but my mother still had legal custody of my younger sister. She didn't want to mother anymore, just wouldn't let Daddy have her out of spite. So her spite ruined our chance to escape, since Daddy didn't want to abandon his youngest. I always wonder how much better my life would have been there, especially since I was diagnosed with a condition in my mid 20's that is basically a slow death sentence here, since insurance won't pay for the treatments. They are available for very low cost in the EU, so I started being told to find a way to get to the EU back then. People with my situation usually recover and are back to working in about 2 years, when diagnosed in most other first world countries. But here they deny your treatment, deny your doctor's request for disability care (thus burdening your family), deny disability income from the government...as my doctor said, women like me "fall through the cracks." My life expectancy here is 40 to 45, with this condition, that is totally reversible. Because I'm too expensive to live. The main treatment I need costs about $400 to $500 a week here. It costs only 4 euros a day there, without a prescription. Less, with one. Anyway, though, Covid kinda burned my life down, and it will be for the best. Selling everything I own and moving to the EU, at last! Better still, last week my father said he's willing to sell his business and house, and leave too. I was so relieved because I didn't want to leave him here. I told him, the moment my feet touch the ground in Europe, after all these years of trying to get there, I think I will hit my knees and sob. Not much of a public crier, either. I heard you guys are still struggling with food shortages too, and now with the war, the gas prices are very high in the UK and EU. I think your prime minister is just as much of a lap dog to Putin as our orange headed buffoon, so he probably is being paid to facilitate the collapse of your healthcare. I hope this time next year everything is better for everyone. Humans have come together at the 11th hour before, so here's to hoping we can again. Cheers, mate, as y'all say over there.

I love watching the drink continuity throughout the show. For Jacob's punk pit story, Katie has a full coffee drink in front of her, at the end of the story when she gets a point, she clinks a red drink with Sam, and then immediately after when the next question starts, her red drink is sitting empty on the table in front of her.
