Hey Wilburn, so glad you’ve made it to their new song, and so soon after it dropped! Thanks a bunch, man ✌️ You’ve got the ears and the heart to appreciate Dirty Loops and all that they bring to the table. That song here?! It’s so mad, so dope, so addictive to me, and yeah, like some other people have said, it’s super simple on one level, and so intricate on another. Man, Jonah’s piano playing! It gives me chills every single time I listen to it! And I’ve listened to this song all morning already 😊 The amount of classical elements in there is bonkers. And yeah, that nasty synth groove there (in the bridge sections?), it’s just SOOOO good, so in the pocket, slightly swung, totally irresistible and super satisfying. I get what you say about the pocket, man, I’m a big fan, and although I know shit about drumming, but I sure appreciate a deep pocket! You a.so saying that jazz might be dying out: to me that would be the biggest ever shame, a musical world without jazz. But I don’t quite see it like that. Somehow it’s making a comeback for some sections of listeners, also for people who really appreciate the deeper listening and more complex music, not just easy background listening. I know quite a few…. So I’m holding out hope ☺️💜 Loved this reaction, thanks again, Wilburn 🙏 Looking forward to more Dirty Loops on your channel! 👍✌️🤟🤘

Wilburn - you are fast!! 😀Number 3 of reactors - since I logged in 18PM Swedish time... I totally love this one! Especially from verse two and forward, darker nuances. The guys are just playing and having fun, so envious of them really!! Arrgghhh... Next life, ok!! Great reaction as always, sir! Cheers from Sweden! 🙂

When you talked about how Aron was "in the pocket" it made me think of a quote by one of my favorite drummers Steve Gadd. He said "i've seen guys with amazing skills and mindblowing technique. However at the end of the day what you really wanna here is someone laying down a solid groove". I'm like that myself those drummers i prefer listening to sure knows/knew how to stay in the pocket and groove like crazy!

OMG they have done it again ..Fantastic !! if this not the new Bond movie theme then this should be, even the title for a Bond movie fits , James Bond in 'When the time is right'...they need to be commissioned to write a Bond Theme or some other Epic movie score...best band on the planet at present.

At first listening to this song, I thought "I expected something different/better". Two hours later I listened to it again and went "OMFG". When I grow up I want to play the bass like Henrik. I'm 59 by the way.

Bad news, they are only touring Europe through March, 2025 but maybe after that. Thanks for putting this up so quick. As someone else said, DL just do not miss. Agree with your comments on jazz. This song was such a mixture of classical, funk, dance, techno, pop. Thanks again Chod for reacting to this so fast. ❤

Goodmorning. I have trying to find you, but couldn't remember where we spoke regarding discord. Hope you get this message. I did sign up when Lee issued an invitation, and I noticed you posted something (a welcome maybe?). Anyway, I tried it, but found it a bit confusing and couldn't find you there. I might try it a few more times, but suspect that this platform is not for me. I think I'll just stick with YT commenting now and then, suits my more my simple mind -lol! Hope I'll see you there once in a while.....Thanks anyway 😊

Thanx for a great reaction! Aron has written some classical music lately and Jonah has been writing film music, so mix it together and -bam this is what you get! And please do “Run Away” (you’ll be surprised over the number of arms Henrik got).
@lottawiklund86062 ай бұрын
Hahaha, yes, I agree. He definitely needs to do "Run Away"!

CHOD!!!! BROTHER !! It’s real good to see you back on You Tube!! I’ve been somehow having a difficult time locating your latest posts!! Was never previously a problem!! Anyway I’m looking forward to you doing your thing in your style and approach!!! I sure hope you’re going to stick to music reviews, many of your fellow music critics have abandoned reviews of music because of all the copyright and blocking problems by You Tube!!!

Good thing about Dirty Loops is that they somehow fits into many types of concerts! 100% Jonah's song, wonderful piano parts, drums supporting so well, the bass so good and fun. Is somewhere in the real of a fair description? Love it. Great reaction, thanks!

Great reaction, you really need to do their "Run Away" the one they released just before this song - You will be given a new stankface for real

Long live jazz - thank you for a great reaction to my favorite band - which I'm (sorry to rub it in) going to see live in a month... If you want to check out one of the worlds greatest and somewhat forgotten jazz bassists check out Niels Henning Ørsted Pedersen (NHØP)...

I go to a lot of concerts, I've seen a lot of incredible musicians play. The Dirty loops concert I went to is probably in the top 3 concerts I've ever been to, and the others in the top 3 are Snarky Puppy and Selah Sue. You should actually react to "This World" by Selah Sue. I know you'd love it. Outstanding groove, feel, and insane vocals to match.
