Sure appreciate the time you take to put together a REAL video. I shoot at much less developed range and use a portable bench that I made. I have those unexplained results also. Recently found chrome plating flaking off on my 457 firing pin. Believe that inconsistent strikes have been causing inconsistent hits. More testing is necessary but in Spokane WA the weather is just a bit too rough for right now.

I usually just clean the chamber only on my Vudoo. That is what I saw recommended. You might try that and see what happens

Didn't see your "day at the range" video but based on what we see here, I would guess the wind was more of a factor than the bore cleanliness? That carbon ring didn't look terrible - sure it was noticeable, but it wasn't that "built-up" where it changes the diameter of the chamber substantially. Also what was the temp on the day of the "bad" group video? My Vudoo get's really picky when it gets colder (near 32 F), so maybe the temps were a factor the other day?

If it starts shooting bad , would you consider just cleaning carbon ring only and leaving the remainder of the bore dirty ?

That’s what I’m gonna do. Then barrel

Some really nice groups man. Just curious though, how do you measure them? On that third group, you measured at .23" but between the first and third shot, there is almost a full bullets worth of length between them (from what I can see in the video) which would make the group around .4" to .45"

Shit let me go back an measure. Wouldn’t be the first time I screwed up. Thx
