To be fair, the rapping part is what sold it for me because it is very indicative of that style of pop music? Like, Japanese pop music (and some other East Asian pop music) has this thing where they mix English words and sentences with the lyrics, obviously when those phrases fit.

Just some information about her if you didn't know: Her channel name is "Rainych" for "Rainy + Ch (short for channel)" hence her raining intro. Her actual name is Ran Widya, she's from Indonesia, she's 27, in reality, has a deep voice. If you look at her "Gurenge" you'll see

I really don't think enough people realize and appreciate this. She is a good signer, but she is a god at mix and master. Consistently making her versions of a cover sound better than the original is very difficult but she's done it so many times its crazy, and she does it with community members who help her with instrumentals and translations as opposed to working with a giant studio. It's very impressive.
