hi pony power can i ask would 1997 parts fit on a 1999 er500 both bikes ?

+CODTony Zombie The 1997 version is the A1, below is a list of what was changed when the A2/A3 (1999 version) A2, A3 - Introduced fuel gauge to clocks - Added a fuel sensor in the fuel tank - Wiring loom changed to include fuel gauge and sensor - Grab rail colour now matches the colour of the bike - Rack mounting plate added on frame - Clutch lever bracket changed to split unit (previously, complete unit had to be slid off handlebars). - Introduced adjuster wheel on clutch bracket - Clutch lever restyled to suit wheel adjuster - Handlebar grips; pattern changed - Extra bracing on shock mounts - Rear mudguard / undertray has cut-outs to accommodate extra bracing - Added a guiding bracket behind the right-hand footrest hanger for the overflow pipes (coolant overflow from expansion tank, fuel tank breather, airbox drain / overflow pipe.)

+Pony Power thank you for your information i was going to buy 2 er500 for not that much money and try and do them up the 1997 one is road worthy but has a lot of cosmetic damage but dose have heated grips so that is a plus lol and the 1999 is of the road.

yes and both run but i am going to do them up and sell both and get into buying and selling bikes and make a profit from them
